Fucked up a couple more pistons today. I guess this method will take some more practice but I gave it a shot. Looks like I may have to find a machine shop to fix my shit. So much for being self sufficient lol

Did you toss bushings in freezer first? Sometimes that can help when the tolerance is that tight. Also prob need a wider spread tip for torch, need much more heat and evenly applied.

Yea I had the wrist pins in the freezer for days. I used a map gas torch and heated the small ends up until blue. I used a wooden block in my shop press to fine tune the positioning which seemed to work well enough for this round of pistons

Ordered some refurbished OEM injectors from Precision Auto Injector and stuffed my sound bar with poly fill. Surprised at how much it improved bass and rattles. Still need a better crossover to limit bass to the speakers...head unit doesn't do it...amp at some point in the future.

I need to do this. I have a shit stereo system and really don't care.. Mobile audio isn't a priority for me as I prefer silence when I drive. But my daughter cranks the stereo and I can hear the dome light rattle and air pumping out of the light housing. Maybe this would help. Anything special about this poly fill?

Nothing special...raided the girls sewing room while they were out shopping. Took care of the dome light rattle and harsh thrum on low hz hits.

My next obstacle is the passenger half door soft top uppers doesn't seal worth a damn against the hard top. Might see if I can get some surgical tubing in there. Don't want to bend stuff...yet.
