That’s phase 3. Outboarding and shocks.

I just finished replacing the axles and installing new seats, new bumpers, aluminum skid plates, A body lift, small, tummy, tuck, SYE, savvy, shifter, and some other odds and ends. Time to enjoy it for a while!

I’m headed out to Moab in about a month, once I’m done with that I’ll probably start prepping for phase 3.

King 2.0's have a lot more of that blue in em. .....just sayin

Removed the crappy Paramore eBay brand plastic, flat fenders. They were starting to crack, and have some weird bubbles in the plastic. Went back to the factory flares.

I don’t really know why I changed them in the first place. It looks so much better stock.

I put the flat fares on 98' SE and liked them. Thinking about putting them on my 05' TJR. Looking at your profile picture and the new picture, I kinda prefer the flat fares. You still have a great looking Jeep. May I ask what lift and tire size you are running?

Indeed they do.

I just read that they don’t offer an 11” reservoir shock. I see 10” and then it jumps to 12”. I wonder if that’s part of why I see more Fox in the outboard builds.

I have the OME HD 2 inch lift. Maybe it’s a 2.5 inch. I forget. Along with that I have the 1.25” Savvy body lift.

Tires are Maxxis 33x10.5r15. I haven’t wheeled with them very hard yet, so I’m not sure how they are. The small stuff I have taken them on, they’ve worked well. They are pretty new.

Thanks @antwon412. I just did a 2.5" Rough Country springs and Rancho 5000x shocks and planning to go with 32" MT Baja Boss. Just trying to decide if I want to do the body lift/ motor mount lift and just go with 33" tires. Fortunately I don't need tires until I decide.

btw, the high-speed adjuster knob and hoses that come with Fox 2.0 DSC smoothies match your blue theme...just saying (whistles as walks away).

Those are some very special (and pricey) shocks! You can’t get 2.0 smoothies with the DSC reservoir, according to Fox...

Crap, not what I wanted to hear LALALaLa covering ears. But that's what I've been thinking too. I'm an older guy and my only thing is getting in it, out's not a problem, it's easier to just slip out, right?

Thats understandable, Im a teenager so not super understandable, but id say is .5in taller going to be more than you want to bother with, if the answer is yes than great, go with the 32s, but if its not, I personally like the look of 33s and only bumped up to 35s because my Jeep looked pretty ridiculous with 33s, 4-5in of lift and high lines

It's the extra body height and the little bit of tire height. I would prefer to go ahead and do 33's because I know after all my other Jeeps, it's what I would want.

While still on 31" tyres and my 4" lift, after the body lift I had problem hauling my fat arse up into my Jeep. Now on 35's, its even worse.

I forgot about that. I’m not sure why Fox didn’t/doesn’t offer it, but Wayne at Alltech built me this setup.

Thanks @RINC. My left leg dose not flex or bend very well and we are definitely not as young as we used to be for damn sure!!! The dealer that I bought my 05 TJR from put some wallyworld AT tires that are factory size on before I bought it and they have taken me on every trail that I have asked them to.

How do you like them? I have a set waiting patiently in my pile of parts for me to start my build. I’m hoping they were worth the squeeze!

I'm super happy with them. Blaine and Wayne did right by me on the setup, which I greatly appreciate. As expected, they are less jarring, less bouncy, and generally more controlled than the 5100, 5000x, and 9000xl shocks.

Hey now, I'm an older guy too and proof you can run 36's and get in. Just gotta do your stretches in the morning. And yes, all you have to do to get out is slide.
