What did you do to your TJ today?

I added a dual usb outlet to my rocker switch panel. I got my rings on my pistons but one set of oil control rings was not fitting right so I ended up ordering a single set from Rock Auto. I wanted to get a few more things done but the wind kicked up and rain will be here shortly.

Been chipping away at my Swayloc install every night after work over the last week. Finally finished and got everything all buttoned up today. Decided to refresh my front bumper while I was at it.

Continuing progress on de-stitching this morning. Figure I’ll just get the original zipper slide pulled out of the way enough before I start sewing in the new one and cut out the old as I move along.

Can see why a lot of repair places refuse to work on jeep tops. The rear vinyl window is cracked all along the edge where the stitches need to be below the zipper slide. Hoping to use the original holes through the vinyl so I don’t run into any bad luck cracking it more.

Quite the project. I bought a kit to try and repair tears in soft tops, but I hope I never have to use it.
