Me too I was almost ready to throw in the towel lol two and a half days of swapping and about the same amount of time to get it running after the fact lol timing was out. Thankfully I was able to play it over in my head after confirming fuel and spark that the only thing left was timing or sensors

Do you know what it finally was or just a combination of changes that got it to turn over?
I had the timing off like a bonehead. When I had put the timing gears and chain on a couple months back on the stand and had it a tooth off. I pulled the timing cover back off and was able to see that the gears were one tooth off.

Timing was off 
ran good through the break in process. Drove it to work tonight as well. No over heating and steady oil pressure so hopefully it keeps going
