What did you do to your TJ today?

Picked up some half doors yesterday. Some touching up needs to be done in some spots but nothing major or to worry about for 20+ year old doors.

Biggest thing no RUST. Small miracle around here. $700 with the windows and key, plus they match :) (Sorry mismatched door club)

Next on the list full doors and fenders.

What's the ballpark going rate for something like that?

I've seen them all over the place price wise. $700 - $750 seems to be a common rate I've seen. As @TJosh02 said $1500 in his area so it varies.

For example someone just listed a set without uppers for $600 on CL in my area and the pictures showed missing paint on the the bottom corners covered with surface rust. Something I'm not interested in dealing with.

Move quick if you see some, but check them out real good. Good luck!

Put on my new plates. This time with fancy ass white tape instead of black. Zip ties for the win.

All you guys cleaning out your radiators....hah. If I need more cooling, I'll pop off the plate to increase air flow. :)

Heater worked great at 25 F below zero last winter.

2hrs with your tj sounds like a win.

It normally would be, but I'm a bit frustrated with it lately. The last few "simple" things I've tried to do to it have taken way longer than anticipated, and have run into problems. I just need to slow down with the repairs and other things I need to do to it.

I did learn a trick today. I was trying to install the bushings and sleeves into the front sway bar end links. I was having a hard time previously. I put the metal sleeves in the freezer for a few hours, used a bit of dish soap, and had each sleeve in the bushing in about 15 seconds each.

Well the wife heard me talking about @TheBoogieman riding partner so she decided to help me out for Halloween :ROFLMAO:

All I need now is a car seat for the little guy!!!!
I let mine drive my TJ. He rode in my XJ during Covid., but I made him wear a mask. Chucky is small enough to hitch a ride on the bumper. ;)

Doors and uppers, or just doors?

Granted this is $1500 CAD (~$1100 USD), but just the doors, no uppers, no keys and decent but not great condition. That is how much I've seen them go lately. I almost grabbed a pair of white doors with tan interior (don't match at all) for $800, but decided against it for now as I park in a public underground, so without at least soft uppers, I am inviting mischief.

Soft tops and half-doors are much rarer in Canada and tend to fetch higher $$ than US listings, but visa versa on hard tops and full doors. Hard Tops go for $400 CAD quite frequently in great condition.
