What did you do to your TJ today?

Some damn animal jumped up on my half door and scratched the paint last night. A few little gouges and some scratch marks. The scratch marks came right out with light sanding, but the chips are going to be more stubborn. I've started sanding them out so I can touch up that spot. I mean the doors have dents and dings in them, but I want them to looks as good as I can make them.

Got the rear end all put back in. Everything torqued properly. New fluid in the diff so Detroit is happy. New everything at the back brakes except masters...did you all know there's an emergency brake on these TJs? In 25 years, I've never known that!!
Took it for my first 5/10/15/500 break in. SMOOTH!! No more chirping corners like with the old spool!!!
Sorry, no pictures. You can't really take pictures of swearing at drum brakes

I agree at the comment about drum brakes after redoing mine about a month ago. Voice memos or videos are much better for providing context.

Chupacabra.

Do people still report seeing them in New Mexico?

While a much more entertaining story that would make, I'm guessing the neighbor's black cat, considering the black cat hair I found on the door. The cat's actually pretty chill, doesn't shit or piss on my stuff, and this is the first thing it's done that annoyed me in the 4 years since we bought this place... still, I'm a little miffed.

Might not be the case anymore, but recoring and repairing radiators used to be a thing. Though thinking about it some, I can't recall the last time I saw a sign for a radiator shop....

A friend of mine said there’s a place in Hagerstown Maryland that does it but I haven’t confirmed it yet. It’s only a 30 minute drive from me and I guess depending on price it could be worth checking out. I haven’t seen anything in my locale though.

Have not changed the sign since we moved here in the 70's.
