What did you do to your TJ today?

Parked the Jeep at my mates place in torrential rain yesterday and noticed wet carpet when I went to come home 🤬
Had to pull the cowl off and the bed rug today as I ended up with wet feet….no debris in the vents so maybe it was just the heavy rain 🫤

your vent box is on the wrong side ! that's probably why it leaks :ROFLMAO:

and also noticed it said once applied, cannot be removed ! I bet it will come off if sand blasted or you take a sanding disc to it !

I saw a thing on the inet where a guy cut a hole in the firewall so he could replace the core from the front side. If i ever used the hsater i would consider it.

HELL them guys in the salt belt just reach through a rust hole and replace them. then glue a stop sign over the hole and it's as good as used !

Not when we get our Jeeps from down south we don't... ;)

Doesn't sound that "permanent" to me, but maybe my reading comprehension isn't so good...

Cheese and Rice! That 5min job of putting in new door hinge bushing turned into 2hrs later and me giving up. Busted the first one going in. Decided to drop the door in. Was tight. Now cant get the door off. Moved my truck out of the garage. Took a battery cable of.

I remember Fred Williams saying that Jeeping is fun.

Doing mine a year ago took me pretty much all day … I’d try for a couple hours, then give up for an hour then return to it…
I ended up putting my Jeep in in the sun to expand the metal and the Delrin bushings in the fridge to help shrink it slightly then a bit of marine grease helped but not much.
Now they are in I applied a bit of that same grease to the pin so it slides out fairly easily.

Jeep was sitting in the sun. I'll try out the freezer thang on the bushings. Thanks for that.
