What did you do to your TJ today?

Changed the oil, rotated tires, and Fluid Filmed the under side of my daughter's Jeep. She's ready for the winter.

Running a new vac line is the best permanent option… but.. if you ever have a break again and need a quick fix, wire heat shrink tubing worked great for me!

At this point, I would have to remove the dash and the heater box again which just isn't an option. Well, it is, but no, I don't want to go through that again right away. I'll take a look at a bandaid until I need to pull the heater box again which is hopefully a long time away.

Any pictures of the area? Might be able to come up with an idea.

Well since @AndyG tire fiasco on the wheeling trip to Helen, GA. And me having a Harbor freight light he hasn't seen in almost 2 years.

Yes he left it in BB, and you would think, what I paid for the Jeep, the light would have been a gift to me.

No way, he saw it in my hand and lord have mercy he was squalling like a 2 year old

He embarrassed myself and @tr21triton so much we were really ashamed to introduce him to @RangerTJ :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well today I stopped by HF just to browse and BANG there it was the new improved version of the light @AndyG just couldn't live without!!!!! And still on Black Friday Sale of $19.99.

Might have to grab me one of them!!

Dead battery this morning but free replacement at O'Reillys, so while I had the hood propped up the whole way figured I'd finally get to the rear CCV valve. Cut out the old rubber step by step around & got her to pop out w/o dropping anything inside & actually didn't break the elbow off surprisingly. Had new Dorman rubber ends & the plastic tube portion still seemed good.

Do you have the part # for the rubber connector from the elbow to the plastic tube?

I did some general maintenance today - oil change and tire rotation etc….

I noticed that the rear coil spring jounce bumper/bump stop rotted off.

I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue because the cup rusted out as well.

I hate rust. 😡

Edit- I most likely wont be doing the steering box upgrade, gotta cut the steering shaft which wouldn't be hard but factoring in the fact ill need a new pitman arm from the looks of it, PSC steering fluid, pump pulley for my psc pump and a reservoir for it and ECT, and im already beyond my "budget" so its a no go! Plus id like to add a cooler from Mr.Blaine so ill do all that once i buy his setup :D So ill keep suffering for now as far as steering goes when i go wheeling ...
But to scratch my itch i will pretty up the stock steering box while at it though :D

Well now that I'm back in town,I'm deeply considering replacing my steering box,it won't be another year or so until I run bigger tires so ive been keeping this thing on the backburner for the past few months
But since im already here.....I wanna just go in and upgrade since on 31s it struggles to steer, makes it stressful when being spotted and get told something around the lines of "PASSENGER DYLAN MORE PASSENGER!!! " like damn "IM GIVEN ER ALL SHE'S GOT HAS CAPTAIN😆"

Apart from decisions I did an alright job of "bedlining" one fender before I get to "bodyworking & painting" the fenders as a whole😁
You can see where I got too far and to close but I'm not complaining since it's my first time working with that stuff...."it won't be seen"
