What did you do to your TJ today?

You remember how I said that I replaced the transmission seals and that it was no longer leaking? Welp, the transmission is leaking from somewhere else now.

I also broke one of the valves on the top of the valve cover.

EDIT: I also broke the plastic wiring harness to the right of the valve cover. Trying to work with 23 year old plastic sucks!

Drove 650 miles round trip to visit my son and the kids for Thanksgiving; I performed an inspection of the underneath of the Jeep.
Even though most of the trip was driving about 70-80 mph; after doing a mild wipe down nothing out of the norm was found.
I did however decide to grease the steering TREs, driveshafts and sway bar link ends.

I radiused the chamfered outside edge and got my @Sunny Side Up billet recovery rings back from the anodizer:

No, but in all seriousness it was very crowded. Its a bit of a local tradition to camp out at the Glamis dunes on Thanksgiving weekend, we just did a day trip on Friday. No nerfing was done and we didn't have a single hiccup in the TJ.

There were at least 3 TJ's out there stocker than me than walked right up Oldsmobile Hill. I wanted to make a run at it but decided against it as the jeep was my ride home lol

Never been to Glamis, but I'll never forget Seth Enslow's famous knuckleheaded crash in Crusty Demons of Dirt (the original). Epic!

I am going away on a solo adventure at the end of the week ( just for a couple days on my birthday) plenty of food pics will be posted I’m sure 👍 … and some scenery thrown in too
