What did you do to your TJ today?

Before you judge @AndyG you should walk a mile in his shoes.

WTF you have two pretty TJ's why you selfish Son of a Bitch. Don't you know there other less fortunate soles looking for there very first TJ and here you are hoarding two of them all to your self.

This proves that you do not believe in Diversity, equity, and inclusion 🤬 These others should not have to work long and hard hours to get a nice jeep, like one that you have, how is that fair ?

Just basting your balls for owning two nice looking TJ's buddy 🤣🤣🤣

😂😂😂😂

As I was acquiring and working on these I was thinking of the joy they could bring to others, then thought “forget that, they are mine, all mine”.

Kind of funny story....my Jeep hobby has been thrown in my face by people around my business a time or two (and I keep the jeeps away from work for the most part). I laugh, I’ve only worked half days, 12 hours. Refinanced my house in 2011 to save my rear, worked many 70-80 hours weeks, paid for enough employee negligence and screw ups to buy out Dennis Collins and treated customers fair I wanted to shoot.

Anyone who says money can’t buy happiness doesn’t know where to shop.

It will at least get you a Rubicon and you can hit the lockers and crawl right up on it.

My wife asks why I have 2- “uh, because you’d go beserk if I got 3”

He believes in DEI, just ask his workers.

Dude has owned 4 different Rubi's since I have known him :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He is what you might call a TJ .......... .,,.

......... WHORE!!!!!!

Yes I believe everybody should have several, they should be loved equally and that includes me.

I have absolutely zero guilt about owning stuff. There was a line in a song by Thin Lizzy and it was something to the effect- Everything that Romeo had you can bet it was well earned.

That is one of the wonderful things about our great country is you can really be rewarded for your effort. There are people all over the world who will work harder than we ever work and they will never have what we have.

We are blessed beyond what any civilization ever fathomed.

It breaks my heart that there are streams of media dedicated to complaining about what is wrong with this country. That is screwed up in the head. America does not need fixed...it needs preserved.

Be like “ lets fix @Plumber1 s jeep”. Yeah right.

Today I pulled a lock cylinder off one of the half doors to see how many of the tumblers would work with my existing keys.

Turns out 5 of the 7 work, so I could run as is.

The 6th is a repeat that I don't have enough of; need 3 per cylinder and I only have 2 of that tumbler. The 7th I didn't have at all.

Ordered 4 new tumblers at Mopar Parts Giant; and new black cylinder caps at Quadratec.

Thanks @MountaineerTom for this awesome post:

It was a fun little project when I did it.

Bought the Hooke Road spare tire delete with third brake light and license plate light. I know it's been covered here probably (I did search some), but where can I get power for the license plate light? The brake light is very straight forward.

Tap into the tail light wire.

I took the TJ out in the snow a bit yesterday. The empty parking lot near the gym was plowed and the snow melted so there was some bare pavement showing. I wanted to go do some donuts in the parking lot but I couldn't with the relatively good condition of the parking lot. I also wanted to try out the 4WD in the snow, but didn't. After slipping around a bit in the Jeep, I do need to practice driving it more in the snowy conditions. My main car is an AWD Subaru so the Jeep obviously behaves differently in winter conditions between AWD vs 4WD and different tires.

3D printed extensions for the spare tire bumpers. Used some longer SS Allen head bolts to attach them.
Printed in TPU 95a at about 75% infill. Nice and solid, but with a little give.

Is it normal that all 4 bumpers need different length extensions?
Also, how much pressure should they have against the tire? These just press on it a little bit.

You can also sandwich rubber exhaust hangers that have the same oval shape. They're at most auto parts.
