Me (97 sport) and my son (01 sahara) went to Southington Offroad Park in Ohio yesterday. temps got into the low 40s, no snow and SUNSHINE!! So it turned out to be a great day. Been wheeling on & off for 20 years and this is the first time with any major issues. We were playing on this giant rock pile and apparently I flexed so hard, my driver's rear spring popped out. Also, the bushings and linkage for the Tcase disintegrated or something, so it's not shiftable. Happily, I have the Savvy cable in my garage from @Peakbagger . The shock stopped the corner from bottoming the body on the tire and a "quick" disconnect of both driveshaft allowed me to hook it back up and tow her home (about 2 hours). This all happened in our last 15 minutes. All in all, a great day!!
Putting on the Savvy cable will be awesome.
1. Make sure to take off the skid plate. Makes it a lot easier to get everything.
2. When you start to make the final adjustments for the cable. I recommend putting the handle in the cab in 4HI, put the TC in 4HI, and start the adjustments from there.
