Took out the gas tank yesterday to get a look at where the leak is coming from and it apears to be the base where the filler hose goes onto. Now I gotta get a new tank
I discovered a similar problem this past weekend, but a new tank is the last resort for me. First, there's no such thing as a new tank - only used. Second, they're expensive ($500-600 on eBay currently). Third, with a used tank, there's no guarantee that it will be trouble-free. I recently posted two possible epoxy solutions in another thread:

I'm also investigating plastic welding as a fix. My thinking is to weld it to make it structurally sound, and then use the aircraft tank epoxy that fixed my slow EVAP leak on my Expedition.
Well not a new tank but I found a used one local to me (about 2hrs away) that I will be picking up, I was also considering a GR tank in prep for a stretch in the future.
painted diff covers oem equivalent black, new diff oil, new engine oil and filter. planning on changing the transfer case oil soon, flushing the brake lines and siphoning and topping off power steering.

Played with my pinion angles a bit today, got them where I want them and had the day off from work, so went out to play on the trails a bit. Trails were in surprisingly ok shape given the warm weather.
On a side note, the pinion seal I just replaced is leaking. I guess the groove in the yoke was a tad too deep. Fingers crossed the new seal and Yukon yoke solve the issue.
Bonus if anyone recognizes this gatekeeper.

A friend of mine has an 04 TJ he wants to sell, and his wife likes my 2012 JKU which I desperately want to sell. Looking at trading plus cash to me. He's gonna bring it by today, but it's a very nice jeep from what I remember. Because I definitely need a fourth TJ.
I see nothing incorrect about this statement.
He said he's had the tranny rebuilt twice and is still fighting a CEL so he may have a computer or wiring issue. That's the only red flag I'm aware of. Can't wait to see it.
At this point I don't think you're going to stop...4, 5...and technically isn't one of them your daughters?

Mounted my radio base in the glove box and powered it from the switched auxiliary wire. Now I just need to get a 1" drill bit for the remote plug to go in the center console and figure out where to mount the small antenna.

A 1” drill bit won’t get used often. I’m a fan of a nice “step” or “uni” bit. However y’all like to describe them.

Jeeps don't rust -> They return to the Earth, such that future Jeeps continue to have the grounds upon which to off road.
Picked up the LJ 4 weeks ago and have done a few things. V8 ZJ tie rod, finished up welding the Barnes 4wd miter cut bull bar onto the bumper with some trick tabs for lights, painted the new to me UCF ultra high clearance belly skid and aluminum engine skid and painted the Barnes steering box skid.
Put on the deck cover, changed top to its bikini form, and put on my tube doors… finally warm enough!
I just did that conversion this weekend too. Much better system.
