What did you do to your TJ today?

I only had to wait 45 minutes to spot the leaks. This gasket is bad, or there is something else wrong. There are all kinds of leaks from the bolts and around the gaskets. Or maybe the foot powder is weeping up the fluid from somewhere else. I'm usually really good about tightening bolts to torque specs, but maybe I under tightened them or overtightened them? I am using the LLT-A999 LL gasket for my 32RH.

Anything else I should try?

I'm no expert, but my LL Gasket has been completely dry. I torque my fasteners to spec like a weirdo.

Spitballing:

Are you 100% sure that the surface was properly prepped, the new pan was flat, and the gasket didn't have any issues before installing things?

I know the surface was prepped. I don't remember checking if the pan was flat. Right now, either the pan is bad or the gasket is bad. No matter what, both have to come off. So, I'm going to take them off and that will allow me to check that the pan is flat. Luckily, I have a granite kitchen countertop already so I don't have to go through a 6 month long $40k kitchen remodel.

I've got a 2015 Dmax truck that sits more than drives. 60K miles on it. There was always a small spot of motor oil on the concrete.
When i got it up on the hoist turned out it was the oil pan leaking. Took a 1/4 drive socket to check the bolts and damn they were barely tight!
Anyway used the torque wrench and tightened them and the leak has stopped.

Installed my new Bestop Supertop. The fabric is nice, but the frame had a couple quality control issues, which were pretty disappointing. I had two instances where bolt holes didn't get close to lining up and had to make some modifications. The most ridiculous issue, pictured below, is one of the holes in the frame wasn't even completely drilled all the way through. At least it was an easy fix.

That said, happy to have a soft top again for the summer for the first time in a couple years.

Nice garage!!! Where's the lift?

Ordered some new fuel injectors as mine are cracked… snagged some Bosch 4 hole ones from precision auto injectors since they were way cheaper than mopar and very reputable.

Randomly typed “jeep” in the discount box at checkout and it worked 😂 easy $32 saved!!

I don’t think those would work for mine. I will say if I did pay more than somewhere else I at least get a lifetime warranty on them

I know some people here have bought this 3D printed AC vent that is compatible with RAM mounts. I got one and I like it for the most part. What I've found is that the material is pretty slick and whenever I hit a bump, the RAM mount rotates down. I also have a bigger phone.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for how to fix it? I'm thinking about finding some rubber sheets to put around the ball and then clamp it down to increase the friction.

I have 2 of them with Bullet Point mounts attached. The BP mounts are 20mm ball mounts and don't work well with it, but don't rotate the phone. I have 2 of their 20mm versions at home waiting for me to put in when I get home tomorrow. Do you have the RAM mount tight?

Reach out to the seller and see what they have to say.

I’ve used a wrap of painters tape on the balls to increase friction when I’ve mixed and matched sets/vendors.

Dropped my LJ off at a Jeep shop today to try and get the evap and misfire codes figured out so I can smog it. Really hoping my wallet doesn't end up too aerodynamic after this.

Got a call back, found a burnt valve on my misfiring cylinder 3. Head job and check for cracked head time.

Very aero wallet soon.
