What did you do to your TJ today?

Amazon got my parts here a bit late but i finished up on the Zj steering Upgrade. Thanks to yall on the thread's i got the part numbers i needed ! Just forgot to order an extra clamp...lost a cotter pin for the stabilizer but it'll be alright !
Clearcoated the links and ends and it looks great,I like the gray coating these parts since they have some sort of gray e coat?

Drives great and no more death wobble when I go above 95 😁 Now I Just gotta fix the the hanger for my exhaust cause it makes my cat pipe hang down low quite a bit ! But I'll take care of that once I get my 3" exhaust to match my ARH header setup!

EDIT- I forgot to mention,I had to clearance my sway bar bracket a tad since the joint would smack the bracket ! No biggie about a 2 minute job with a die grinder

At full lock,I wonder if it'll hit once the joint gets older and starts to flop? I imagine so....

I drove 14 miles and found out the sucker went with me …no joke. He bailed at my office.

I’m in a rural area and they are looking for water- they are about to find some - in a 5 gallon bucket set as a trap…

Homie just wanted to say hi and be friends 😆

I’ve got that same refrigerator in my camper… love it!

I am 99% sure that it is a rebranded Dometic. I left it in our truck after an RV trip and the lid warped from the heat. Once I confirmed it was not the latch, they sent me a new one no questions asked. Now I use the one with a warped lid in the Jeep because I strap the Jackery down and it holds the lid shut and the Jackery doesn't go flying around as I bounce off rocks. I basically got two Dometic fridges for less than $300 total. Nice trailer setup. Very similar to my buddy's.

Looks great! Have you changed your sway bar bushings? I did and it made a world of difference. It helped some of the wander that the steering had.

I put in some sound deading & heat shield on the front floor. I used a brand that @Chris recommended in another thread. Then I slapped in the Bedrug kit to see if I liked it before I take the rear seat out and put the cargo kit in. Took it for a drive and holy smokes, the heat and sound rejection is leaps and bounds. The original owner had removed the carpet. Compared to how it is now, id estimate at least a 10db reduction.

Now to order the rear kit a d put it in.

Do you mind sharing the part numbers or the thread where you got the part numbers? This upgrade is on my list to do at some point.

whenever I start cleaning mine, I just think I'll just clean this part... then the surrounding parts look worse next to that clean part so I clean those... then the surrounding parts of that look bad so I clean those....then the surrounding parts of that look bad...(you see where I'm going with this ) :p

That's the way I cleaned it today. Looks a lot better.

Yes sir I did put in new bushings a few months back,it's a polyurethane kit that's put up top (greasable) and the ones on the axle side,Didn't really make a great difference since back then everything was square but now that everything is actually square,it's amazing cruising at 85-90mph never felt better and no wobble😁Once I get new tires again it will be buttery smooth!

Yeah I Essentially did the same too not to long ago I did insulation on the firewall and a good chunk of the trans tunnel and it's amazing,my leg ain't warm and my drinks don't get melted either! What brand did you use? I was gonna get "Noico" but I had a bunch of the summit racing stuff thats .070" thick. I like it and especially at its price point,Either way I may endup doing lizard skin temp control spray and sound spray to then top it off with beeline, or just finish off with more sound deadner and get new carpet......idk

I used Siless from Amazon that is 4mm thick. The Bedrug also had a reflective heat tape that went on the bottom of the driver and passenger side inserts. When I put the rear Bedrug kit in, I'm going to put the insulation under the rear floor Bedrug since the muffler is right under the rear passenger floor.

I was blasting King Buffalo (love that band) in the garage and working on the Jeep. I ended up getting the trailer hitch installed on the back. Up front, I got the Nilite 7" round lights installed. Damn, these things are bright!

I got some fog light pigtails with the wiring harness. I spliced them into the lights and used some solder seal connectors instead of traditional solder. I found these connectors when doing the stereo work and I liked them then. So, I put them here. I then put another layer of shrink tubing over that just to make it look nice.

Damn, this front end is looking nice!
