What did you do to your TJ today?

Well fuck….tree branch down on my Jeep while I slept. Broke my mirror, one hood latch, ripped my cover, smashed the windshield frame up a little bit and dented the hood too.

Geez..
I suppose it could be a whole lot worse.
But you've had more than your fair share if crap to deal with..

Not today but a coupe of weeks ago. Now I know that these Jeeps don't really need a CAI but I enjoy building things. The prefilter is made by a company called EngineAir and most of the other pieces came from Spectre.
Edit: A member here wanted a little more info. Starting at the prefilter you will need a 3.25 to 3 inch silicon adapter. I found this on Ebay. All of the following items were from Spectre. Then you will need two of the grey 3 inch four bolt flanges which you sandwich on the cowl panel. Next is a flexible hose (from Spectre) thru the firewall on to the filter. Then just cut your factory tube and get a reducing elbow, 3 inch to 2.75? I had to plumb the valvecover vent in on my 06 but the earlier models had it ran like I did.

Cut and clamped on a turn down. Actually sounds pretty good.

Installed an aux fuse block in the passenger footwell and drilled the passenger side firewall for a passthrough, wired up the heated seats, wired up the subwoofer, reinstalled the center console, went for a drive to get a new log to send off to FRP.

What's the go-to method for adjusting the speedometer on the electronic speedo models nowadays? Speedohealer? Yellow box?
I was pretty much spot on with 5.13s and 37s but now that I'm back down to 35s it's reading fast.

How loud is the turn down with the top off and do you get any exhaust smell in the cab when idling? I've been debating doing this to mine but don't want to gas my kids with or without the top.

What fuse block did you use? I'm trying to find on to mount under the hood with zero success. Where did you drill the pass through hole?

The stink was pretty bad before but I was running catless before. I've only driven it a couple times since adding the precats back in and the smell hasn't bothered me. But I'm sure the exhaust is still swirling up, idling or at speed.

Painless 70107 has switched and constant fuses by way of a relay. I tapped the rear wiper fuse slot to trigger the switched relay side and used two of the switched circuits for the heated seats.

The pass through I drilled directly to the left of the two studs that hold the battery bracket. Red wire in the photo is going out the bushing just behind the top edge of the carpet

I took off the milk jugs and put on OEM bumper caps on the front and rear bumper. It looks so much cleaner. The front wheels were missing the center caps. I got replacements and put them on this week.

I've done enough stuff to the front end that I probably need to take a new picture for my profile.

Installed a left over rock light from Nightlite as a front dome light. The light is actually around 6k temperature. My phones camera made it look more yellow.

Finally got my Toyota headlights for the wiring harness. For those who have installed the harness, how did you route the wire across to the driver side headlight?

IF someone wants the headlight assemblies (no wiring harness), if you pay shipping they will be yours!

I have a few of those light pods scattered around the Jeep. They are super bright!!
I ran the Toyo/Koito harness, but can't remember how I routed it. If no-one else responds, I will take a look at what I did..
