What did you do to your TJ today?

Haha wow how'd you end up in my small town?

I remember that though. Very annoying snowing for like a week in May 🙄
I went to a FMI Leadership course for a week at The Nature Place. I'll never complain about our paved county roads here after being there. Luckily I had a '24 Rubicon as a rental. It was amazing watching the sun come up every morning drinking coffee. The views are breath taking, literally. I couldn't hardly breath there. I'm used to my 400' elevation . My wife kept sending me pictures of home with it in the upper 70's and low 80's.

Oh wow you actually went there on a business trip! Cool company you work for. Did you get a good eyeful of pikes peak?

Hey I think the roads are pretty good out here... Better than where my dad lived 😂

Oof that's a big difference. Hopefully you didn't have headaches and stuff. They sell 100% O2 canisters at gas stations up here nowadays and I hear they really help the altitude sickness lol

Oh yea, every morning I gazed at it while sipping coffee. I drove up as far as they'd allow, 13.5 miles. It was beautiful.

We at least have paved roads here. Be it they are not very well taken care of, they are not dirt.

I never had headaches, just couldn't breath. Alcohol hit very hard. I knew I was screwed when I got off the plane in Denver. I'm in great shape and don't smoke either.

Awesome! Very pretty drive. I took my family up there a few weeks ago from IN as well. Mistake... They all hid so they couldn't see over the edge 😂

Haha hey the two "highways" out here are paved!!!

Ah that helps. Yeah you get drunk fast! I love visiting low altitude and being able to cruise beers all day on vacation 😂

Traced down an annoying rattle I heard at low speeds. I noticed it would go away while applying brakes. Installed some "anti-rattle" clips and problem solved! Carlson brand brake parts #H5702

Got it back - thrilled-

The transmission rebuild feels great- billet converter, shift pistons, transgo kit, cooler-

Being without it really, really made me realize how fortunate I was that getting this LJR worked out.

Am I happy this needed done? Not thrilled....some silicone was used a little generously on a pan install and a piece made its way into the valve body and clogged 1-2 and that took out the TC which contaminated it all with metal.

All that said, it was mentally easier to do it to this Jeep....now it has a transmission that suits the build better.
