What did you do to your TJ today?

Was able to sneak some quick jeep love in the end of the day and swapped the bumpers. Only broke one bolt, and just one bumperette survived out of two sets of rears and set of fronts, which were already broken.

Shopped for a cab cover for my LJ. If anyone can recommend Bestop, Smittybilt, Chinese cheapies. Most say they're for TJ's I have a Bestop fastback soft top and OE mirrors.
Isn't the Bestop image a JKL?

I hated the best top for my TJ and sold it for 1/3 the cost because it wouldn’t fit over my soft top…so if you like to have the canopy up for shade with the windows and doors off it may not fit (mine didn’t).

I have this now but for the TJ.

That's a JKU. I had a Bestop cover for the TJ. The one you have pictured. It was a good piece though I only used it once. Fit fine with the TrekTop NX, but I sold it because I wasn't using it.
From all reviews I have read the RainGearCovers are the ones to get.

Not trying to change your mind, just sharing what my eyes see since reasoning can sometimes be more valuable than the opinion.

I like how the top matches the tires and how the wheels match the black parts. Looks balanced imo, but black will certainly look good as well.

Well several people have seen it today and said they like they gray when I bought it I planned on painting it but my wife kids parents and neighbor liked it I was gonna take the roof rack off but they all liked that too

You could always run it as is and then see if your opinions change. No need to rush if you have the clearance.

If you don’t take the rack off you’ll never use it, and you’ll need it back up if you do take it off. :)

If you have the soft top up, it adds rigidity so the cover won’t pool up like that. I had enough of that nonsense after one session removing water with a bucket from the best top.

yep, that pic was my fault, no top and no straps attached...was more highlighting the quality of the material. With the top down, I stick a pool noodle in there, In safari mode, never had an issue.

While the paint on Tess isn't immaculate after 18+ years, it wasn't horrible but needed a little TLC. Had a full weekend of dry weather so I gave her a once over with a clay bar followed up with machine applied compound, polish and wax. She ain't ready for the Pebble Beach Concourse but she looks a damn sight better than she did and now she's sporting a little protection as well.

Ever had that moment in traffic you wished you had those rubber push bumpers on your winch bumper so you ease the effer’ in front you out of the way…. And not scratch your powder coating….Well today I installed the factory ones back on the ARB…tomorrow I might be in the news 😂
