Notice a difference in the insulating the a/c line? It’s on my why not-to do list

Serious question, why do you need a mount for this? Always curious about the benefit since I just curved mine around the tub directly
Mostly something to do but I wanted something a little more custom (??) than just screwing the plate to the tub
I don’t know of any benefit other than looks.
I’m so confused
Oil change day…. Gonna trial this new brand of oil filter….( it makes my engine look purdy lol )View attachment 551609
I see you have the troublesome steering shaft issue there.
Don't worry - there is a US solution available that you can install.
j/k good work Kiwi. Now where's the grilling on a scenic location porn you owe us?
Haha…. has my dad used to say “there’s no fix for what you’ve got son!”
yeah sorry I’ve been a slacker, the good news is Spring is just around the corner down here… so regular schedule programming of “Kooking with Kiwi” will resume shortly
Looking great! I'm slowly working through the same paint work. Hoping I get that level of shine! Great job!
You're just a young'en, so us old farts will let you learn that lesson on your own. Keep on solderin', and one day, the reason most of us don't solder vehicle wire connections will become apparent to you...I don't like crimp connections at all ! So soldering my wires it is
Been soldering wires since I was 12,Primarily on my rc cars since that's where it all started so I'm pretty sure I know what you mean? Empty conclusions won't do any good so what would would be apparent? You're just a young'en, so us old farts will let you learn that lesson on your own. Sorry, I thought you'd been around the forum long enough to have seen one of the discussions on soldering (it comes up quite often). When the solder wicks up the wires, wherever it stops becomes a very high stress concentration point, and over time, the slightest of vibrations will cause one strand at a time to break, until the entire wire breaks, sometimes leaving you stranded.Been soldering wires since I was 12,Primarily on my rc cars since that's where it all started so I'm pretty sure I know what you mean? I got a high-speed fan with a duct I run out the window, and if I'm outside a fan will do to blow out the tasty cancerous rosin flux&lead fumes my Kester 60/40 wire puts out
Either way some sort of connector is used if its an uninterrupted run or wire (not in my case cause of the adapter) it would be dumb if I were to solder on something I can't disconnect in the jeep.
I've been on here but not enough I guess.Sorry, I thought you'd been around the forum long enough to have seen one of the discussions on soldering (it comes up quite often). My lesson happened during an AMA Superbike practice session a long time ago. The rider and the sponsors weren't happy about it, and I've been using quality barrel crimps and crimping tools ever since.
