What did you do to your TJ today?

Got all 8 control arms replaced on my TJ. Basically took the old Core4x4 arms off that need serviced and replaced with new Core4x4 arms. The old after being serviced will then go onto my LJ. After a year they got stiff, so definitly going to figure out what is the best course of action for running JJ arms in the clay heavy areas around me.

I don't know how unique I am in this, but my MO for spark plugs is to replace them when I get a misfire code. That happened two days ago to my LJ for the first time since I've had it.

I believe they are the same NGK part number it shipped with in 2006. The exposed steel is rusty and the exposed ceramic is completely covered in dirt. No way to tell if they are actually original but they all measure at least .095 at the gap. My LJ has 138k miles on it.

This was the best one...

Replaced with the forum prescription Autolite XP985 gapped to .035. Cleared my DTCs and will watch to see if P0306 comes back. I never actually felt any misfire, I only knew by the CEL lighting up as I pulled out of the parking lot at Dollar General.

This reminds me of my buddy who had two dirt bikes and this mooch wanted to go riding with us and ask him if he was going to ride both of them- He said man if I could do that I would quit my day job.

Whoa!

This is really great guys. Well worth the cost and time. May be one of the best moves interior wise.

You know we have a thread going about driving long distance- I’d say if everything is mechanically OK this is the first thing you need to do.

We are talking about an entire new level of comfort-no joke.

I mean, You at least go to share the link for the foam 🤣

That works just the same.
One of them "I'm not going to research it" issues as I'll live with it. But if someone recommends it I'll consider the purchase.
