What did you do to your TJ today?

Went for a drive and my right turn signal light/arrow on the dash stayed on. Front side/flare marker bulb looked like it was flickering and almost dead. Replaced the bulb and it worked for a few hours and the new bulb went out. Swapped the bulbs and it worked fine on the other side. I'm guessing a bad socket. The front fender light on that side works fine. but doesn't blink with the turn signals. I'm hoping the socket will fix that issue too because I'm supposed to get a state inspection on Monday.

Gonna take her in and see what they will give me for trade in on one of these😎

Thinking -

Make sure you delete/ignore the lead to the factory markers - that is where it gets confusing-

The turn signal lead splits to the marker and turn and they share a ground.

You may have popped the fuse long the way is my guess man.

I’ll keep an eye on this tomorrow and pm ya my number. You will succeed.
This was a bad Jeep design. I rewired mine to eliminate the interconnection. Very simple. Just took the negative wires to ground on the fog lights. Here's the schematic.
It works like a modern car. Great.

Today's cars don't blink the side marker lights as turn signals. Some cars put blinking arrows in the side mirrors.
You can re-wire the side marker lights negative to ground easily (on the fog light wiring) and simplify things.

1000%. Always grow our own and love getting off the mower and grabbing one off the vine.

I grew up around the corner from my grandparents. My grandfather, “Pop”, had a daily ritual for his afternoon snack. He would go out to his garden, pick a nice tomato, bring it in, slice it, season it with salt & pepper & enjoy it with a can of shoestring potatoes & a cold Budweiser. 😋

Drove to work with the top down thanks to some decently clear weather for once, then debated on wanting half doors for the 10 millionth time this week. Decided to look around and about had a stroke seeing the price for some white half doors…

Doesn’t even include inner panels, but oh you can buy another set for “$300” + $250 shipping…

So I just drove back home and took the full doors off for the week. Guess I have to keep looking, or say screw it and get the HighRock 4x4 doors and enclosures for half that price….

It's bad! I searched for a long while and scored a complete set for $300 from a scrape yard in the boonies. You have to get crafty to get them at a good price. But, you need to get them before they get crazy expensive. 🫰

Yeah… I’ve been looking since I got my jeep a year ago.

If I cannot find anything, I might just go the Highrock route… but its also like $900 for the doors and panels 🥲

For that price, find a set that's off color and have them painted.
