Been MIA for a minute! The 2.4 got some upgrades! Got a gobi roof rack for cheap, took a trip up to the Adirondacks for the weekend. Snagged some cheap half doors for the LJ, thinking of getting a red tailgate too.

I will third! Wife need a space to lock up a purse and Glovebox/center console not big enough… wondering if that speaker cavity is accessible interior space still? So if you don’t load a speaker, you do still have the space just need to sort out cover for dust not to intrude… but I would probably looking to add the speakers, 5” subs.
I did not put speakers in. Not needed... Kickers up in soundbar.
To all those who asked hopefully here are a bunch of pictures of the boxes that answers questions. They are very well built. If more room needed you don't have to use the alum. dividers. I used them because there is like a small "hole" where little objects can fall into and go under a space beneath the bottom plate.
Damn, I thought the same thing. I hate to admit I was born and raised in Sacratomato, but it kinda looks like downtown
Yup this is downtown. Capital is a 5 minute walk from our office. I usually ride the bus into work.

Well my journey has begun…. Had to wait until the storm had passed through the centre of New Zealand before I could leave..
Had a fairly decent trip down( 7.5 hours )no drama little bit of rain but nothing major.

As much as I complain about Komiefornia, with graduating in the mid 70's, Sacramento was kinda cool back then.

New front fenders waiting to get painted, and just installed new rear window struts. Upper/lower ball joints a week ago. 
Thanks! Im digging it too, I was debating long term either going with blue, red, or a combo of both for the tailgate, doors, and front end with the fenders, grill, and hood.

I came home to a sparkling clean 1997 Flame-red TJ this evening. My wife spent three hours cleaning it this afternoon after last weekend's top-off wheeling trip, which left it covered in an inch of dust inside and out, along with some mud accents around the fender flares. I'm a lucky man!
My whole family uses the parking brake no matter where they park.... you should see our driveway, you'll realize why...
