What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed 4 brand new NTK 02 sensors. In the process I had to remove the JCR slider so I could remove the driver's fender so I could access the 02 sensors more easily. Since I removed the driver side slider I figured I might as well remove the pass side also and start the mods I have planned. Weld in the JCR logo, cut off the excess metal at the logo and fill in the jacking points.
Edit: Also cutting to fit the Genright fenders I need to install.

Do you think the Tuffy Instatrunk will fit with it? Can you post a couple pictures behind the seat?

I’ll take pics and measure in the light tomorrow, but my gut says no. 1) the angle of the seat back is different, and even you forced it, 2) there is a latch and lever for the tumble portion which sticks into the trunk space, preventing the back wall from sitting flush.

The seat sits noticeably lower (Kids asked if I had raised the rear grab handles) but I was still able to fit, jumper cables, first aid kit, hoodie, blanket, and wheel chock under the seat. Behind the seat space is overall the same.

Thanks! I will need to retain the trunk. I spend too much time with the top off in the summer and need the space to secure items.

And they’ve worn well because “that” tire guy put 35-40 psi in them? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pipe dreaming about maybe getting 5 rims like you have from National Tire & Wheel with 31x10.50R15 BFG KO2's...

15x8 5x4.5 3.75BS AR62 Outlaw II Machined - American Racing -19 offset

I don't understand if the backspace and offset are standard if I order for 2006 TJ Sport... no lift... (maybe 2" later). NT&W says I need 3" lift if want these rims & tires. Why? I want the wheels to fit under the fender flairs like the stock Jeep Ravine rims with 31" tires I have on now. I think you have 32" 11.50 tires. Did you get the -19 offset or something different? And, of course, are you satisfied with the rims?

With Hurricane Milton arriving tomorrow afternoon I topped off the fuel tank and parked my Jeep in the garage to protect it from flying debris.
Yesterday I made sure I have enough food and water for a several days and the generator has enough fuel just in case....
Contacted my son in Port Charlotte and his area was recommended to evacuate; he and the family have decided to hunker down and ride it out.
Hope everyone stays safe during this Extreme Storm...

Oh he is in the path big time ,praying for them.

Boogie, so sorry to hear of your wife's and your loss. You are correct, you just never know; enjoy it while you can. Condolences to your family.

Took a very unexpected trip yesterday. Wife called me from work and crying. Her brother had a apparent heart attack at work, while talking on the phone to his wife. CPR didn't work and he was pronounced dead. He was only 62. Just such a shock. He was planning on retiring next year and enjoying retirement. He was a great guy. You just never know. Enjoy your life now.

So sorry boog,

Drove home with the AC on, this a milestone!!!!

First time i have used the AC in the 2 years I have owned BB.

You are tougher than me. I sold a great Jeep that had no AC. I didn't make it through one summer here. I thought AL humidity was like VA and stays at 90%+. My brother never uses AC unless someone riding with him on 100 degree days complains. He doesn't even roll the windows down. I drove with him to a 4WD parts store a few years ago and didn't think I'd survive the 1.5 hour (each way) drive. He didn't break a sweat and I lost 7lbs. 🥵🫠

I kept the windows out till all the storm rain was moving in.

I left the half door uppers in yesterday, because I had to stop and pick up some stuff from Walmart for my dad ........

Thus the AC :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
