What did you do to your TJ today?

Original AEV wheels off my TJ.
Had them reconditioned and put on the LJRšŸ˜

Haven't been driving the TJ a lot and having just put in a new battery I didn't want it to sit there discharging so I installed the small 2 amp NOCO Genius 2D maintainer https://no.co/genius2d which claims to have temperature compensation. I covered all the wiring with corrugated conduit and placed the NOCO near the right headlight which is just right for the 24" charge cable to reach the battery and the 24" AC cord to reach the sway bar for easy plugging in without raising the hood. (That other connector is for my driving lights)

Iā€™ve procrastinating looking into a simple direct mount trickle charger like that. You pushed me to pick one up a give it a try. thx!

I turn 40 in 2 weeks and feel everything anymore. After the last 4 days of putting axles in my TJ, I feel horrible.

Ah, 40 I will say that is when I noticed a change in how my body responded. Then it seemed about the same for the next 15 years or so and then seems like I started noticing another change in how my body responds.

I retorqued all control arms and track bars and pumped grease into every zerk I could find under he jeep. People say I don't look 62yrs old, but I surely feel it.

I replaced the upper axle bushings and greased the Johnny Joints on the upper arms yesterday and today it feels like I was run over by a kill dozer

Yepā€¦I like to run the same route the varsity XC country team uses for their weekend practice. Nothing makes you feel old and slow like getting passed by a bunch of 15yr olds.

Dang i thought you were talking about the Varsity restaurant......... i can put it in gear to eat there.

I am 51 my brain tells me I can do it however the body doesn't always agree

Started happening to me around 55. A few weeks ago spent the day helping my son replace the catā€™s on his JKU and the next day was ooh, I think I need some aspirin šŸ˜‚. Itā€™s the laying on the ground I think that gets me most. I even try and use a rubber mat to lay on.
