What did you do to your TJ today?

That depends on how deep you dig the hole. My Gnome keeps the neighbors away from my "garden". 🤫

I could send my gnome over to help fertilize your "garden" so new growth can cover any freshly moved dirt as quickly as possible.

Whenever my wife happens to be in the garage with me she reminds me “you are forgetting where you put that tool all the time, what has happened to you?” I swear I take longer now as I put the tool where it’s supposed to be so I can find it when I need it next instead of just laying around while I use a different tool or whatever I need to do.

After getting a lot of responses to my sale ad and talking it over with my wife, I decided to put the sale of my TJ on hold. No way to replace it in the future for my $9,000 asking price. Still can't figure out the transfer case rear output shaft area leak. It was replaced 2 years ago and I only had to add 1-2 oz of ATF to it yesterday. Not worth worrying about for that small amount. The RTV sealant they used on it was peeling off. Maybe they didn't seal that area good enough.

You made a wise decision. That TJ is worth more than $9k.

I spend a considerable amount of time sitting in what I call the moaning chair (rounded off or broken bolts, rust, wrong part, broken tool, incorrect on my diagnosis, part NLA, stupid bolt/nut/small part has been dropped and been pulled into the conjoined dimension).

I have found that - when I'm all "Where the FUCK is that tool I had in my hand 35 microseconds ago?" - that 99.9999% of the time, I'm sitting on it.

Today is my 6 monthly NZ inspection appointment....It's had new clutch, headlights , shocks and replaced the rear sway bar bushings since my last one plus I cleaned up my tow bar from rust (which they warned me about in my last inspection)...looking for a good pass ✅ today so grabbing my 4 leaf clover, lucky rabbits foot and a horseshoe just in case.;)
