What did you do to your TJ today?

Swapped out the paper cabin air filter for a washable K&N. Since the filter is a single filter from a JK, I'll have an extra to be able to swap in while washing one.

This filter has only been in since late February. Kinda surprised how much crap the filter caught instead of going into the HVAC. One of the best mods I've done for $50.

Any chance you have a part number for the filter? I did the filter mod a month or so ago and sure would like a washable filter.

On a different note, the drivers side inside seat bushing broke when I was doing the Summit seat cushion install. I should have ordered the bushings when I ordered the cushion but.. who knew. Loosened the back two seat bolts and removed the front two, tipped the seat back and installed the new bushing in about five minutes.

Those wheels look kind of mismatched.. you should send them to me for proper disposal..:love:

I’m glad I got the wheels when I did , they recently discontinued them

Zippers….time to put the top. Going from my doors on/windbreaker transition month to windows on. 19th year for this top going for one more but question. this gap shown in the past photo. Any ticks tips on closing these gaps. I hate opening the back as they have not ever closed all the way. I suspect that it’s just shrinkage and it is what is? I have sprayed the the with RV dry lubeView attachment 568363View attachment 568364View attachment 568365
Zip the back window zippers before you zip the side zippers. Start the side zippers about two or three inches. Close the rear zippers fully and go back and zip the remainder of the sides.

I replaced the 55W H3 bulbs on my Hella 500FFs with 100W bulbs.
Holy flamethrowers! You can feel the heat even with your hand is 3 feet in front of it.
Hope you don't toast the harness.

Exactly my point. :p

quick paint job on the crusher corners and they are on (Need to strip/paint the CCfab fenders and LOD sliders to match) , along with some flush mount LED tail lights. Found this sweet CJ along the way, left a note to see if the owners looking to part with it.

A lot of the components like brakes and control arms are pretty eaten up (starting to take care of them one by one), and a few spots on the body, but the frame still looks pretty good

I honestly would be looking for a new axle, but I am from a non rust belt area. That picture scares the crap out of me.
