What did you do to your TJ today?

My '04 is like that. I don't believe the replacement carpets, like Bedrug, cover those panels. I haven't found a passenger side cover like the driver side.

Something in the depts of my grey matter is telling me that the Sahara models came with carpeting covering both kickpanels but I'm not going to place any bets on it...

It’s a great place to install some 15lb Velcro. Bartact makes MOLLE/Velcro strip so I’ve used that corner to mount various gear pouches, snacks, FAK, etc.

Recently I've been piddling with LJ some :

Installed a power inverter
Installed a power port in the cargo area for the refrigerator
Replaced the battery with a AGM marine battery that will run the refrigerator overnight and also has plenty of cranking amps .
Installed a circuit breaker and continuous duty solenoid that is activated by a rocker switch to kill power to the winch and inverter .
Removed the Alloy USA differential covers that were a pain to fill .
Painted and installed the factory differential covers with Lubelocker reusable gaskets .
Installed new front sway bar bushings .

Finally fixed the one Genright fenderbolt i could never access-

What a pain-

Now I’m ready for the “Coppinger Cove Run from the Perverts Trail Run” we have on for Saturday.

The year’ special is “bring a JK owner and get in free...make the JK owner pay for both of you. “

I was thinking the same.

This is a great idea. That locations is easily accessible but out of the way enough to not be intrusive or tempting.

Have any additional details on these mods? I have a Jackery and have been getting on well enough with a Yeti Roadie cooler, but would prefer more permanent options.

How does one suspension lift a leaf spring jeep? Taller leafs? Shackles?

Had a CJ that the PO did a little spring and longer shackles. Longer shackles in the back work fine but the front messes with the caster and it was darty. Definitely had to be focused. Found some angled shims that go between the spring and axle that can correct.

4 inch springs, longer shackles, body lift.

That looks like probably 4 inch springs and a body lift.

My Scrambler had 4 inch springs and 2 inch shackles. Drove perfect. I ran 35 12.50 15 on it.

The biggest problem is Flex you don't have that coil springs give you.
