Finished up the new front brakes and took it for a spin. Next up is figuring out why the engine/throttle cuts out at about 2700RPM 
The older I get the more I understand why men are called Dogs.
Regardless of age, I've never had an issue with the reference. Woof.
Good design, solid product, and made here by an American. Hard to beat that hat trick.
I can't speak to how the factory hooks, or even these, work with soft shackles, I'm intending to use mine mainly as forward safety line tie-downs when hauling surfskis (a job the factory hooks suck at). That said, I've now been "hooked" twice by the factory jobbies while working on Tess, fortunately without blood loss or permanent damage to any squishy human bits....but it sure woke me up!
Changed the alternator yesterday after trail riding on the battery only for about 4 hours. I was surprised how well the Napa Gold battery did with the radio and GMRS being on. Luckily the local Advanced Auto Parts had the Dodge 160A in stock. Battery got down to 10.4v by the time we made it to Advanced.
I've now been "hooked" twice by the factory jobbies while working on Tess, fortunately without blood loss or permanent damage to any squishy human bits....but it sure woke me up!

I'll have to get back to you on that. They are more of a fog/turn signal than a driving light i.e. not that powerful. I can't remember the brand offhand. I got them to augment the 3/4" fender indicators because they have an indicator strip.

Even still that’s a good idea. I have the tiny indicators as well and I’m sure folks have a hard time seeing them during the day.
Not today, but yesterday, but went out to calico, near Barstow, CA and ran the Odessa Canyon trail with a buddy in a 6G Bronco.
Looks like a great trail. I wish it was closer.
Forward progress on “Bens Deployment Build” Front Chromo Shafts, Centric rotors, BMB pads, Crown SS lines and Napa E-Coated rotors. Tightened up all front suspension hardware and did a quick alignment.
Coming together nicely if I say myself.
Keep in mind Ben is expected to return sometime in December so I have time.

Same here. Been aware of it for a few years, but the 3-4hr drive keeps conflicting with how lazy i am.
It's the same as going to big bear timewise from Orange county. Took 2.5 hours one way, and it is worth it. Tons of trails to explore along with abandoned mines.

Yeah from SD that would be a trek, only worth it if you camped and made it a 2 day trip. It's mostly BLM land so a lot of people dry camp right where the trails start.

In all honesty, they are a better "fog" light than turn signal. If I was to do it again and/or in the future, I'd just flush mount some amber KC Cyclones on the grille for turn signals and use a different fog light or no fog light at all.
