What did you do to your TJ today?

No shops around me will touch 35's, so I have no problems traveling to find a reliable shop.

Really? Do you have any in white plains or elmsford area? I used to use Glens in elmsford for work truck repairs. Glens a nice guy and capable. Gotta be a 4x4 shop in Westchester or Putnam Counties??

@Andy-WhiteTJ any ideas south of here?

Hi! can you tell me the complete size of the tyre? Thx!! (sorry my english)

Sorry, but only the hardtop photos are mine, the other Jeep photos are from other members here. @UND_Sioux is the owner of the black LJ with hardtop (3 photos), I think he's running 33" tires but can't say much beyond that. I've tagged him in this reply so maybe he can supply more specifics on the tires.

Swapped the soft top for the hard top and put the Boom Mat headliner in the hard top and Rugged Ridge top to tub seals. So far, the Boom Mat makes a huge difference. I haven't driven it much, but the radio is a ton better. It fits very tight with the RockHard Sport Cage in it.

Checked into how hard it is to replace stock control arms vs bushings only. I'm afraid it will be over my head and I'm a pretty good mechanic. Advice? 😬

The difference in price is negligible - just replace the entire arm. Except the front uppers with the bushings stupidly pressed into an axle holder. I replaced those arms as well, but I ended up having to have a shop replace the bushings on the axle end.

Thank you!

I have the tj 2.4 and I think that this tyres could be great for it.

Being in Ohio, I would look into getting some control arm bolts as well. If they're rusty, the bolt may be seized to the metal bushing and you may have to cut the bolts off. Not trying to be negative but that is just the way it is in the northern part of the country where we use salt on the roads.

My jeep spent most of its life in Virginia and it's not rusty at all. I've never had trouble breaking bolts loose at all, but you never know. Thanks for the input!
