What did you do to your TJ today?

Around 3-4 hours or so. It's not difficult, just a lot to do. Next on the list is either a bypass switch, or bypass and direct individual locker control. Haven't decided which I want yet.

Thank you for the information. That is a lot faster than I assumed. Though I think it will take me a little longer 😳🧐.

I decided on individual locker control. That way the Jeep lets me also decide when and why I want one, or the other, or both or neither axle locked.

This is part of a slightly larger project that needs to get done before another chickenshit item can be done as well.

Partly disassembled OBA air manifold. Some of the quick connects were leaking - I don't think they like to have the air line off center on the approach. Either way, I'm changing out most of them system wide.

New compression fittings going in...

Mostly done, with the air gauge that was in the way re-installed afterwards.

Done with this part.

Did a few things... installed a billet style fuel door, 21" stubby antenna and 5 new wheels (American Racing AR-23) & BFG 31" KO2 tires. View attachment 571619View attachment 571621View attachment 571623

Curious on your antenna useability. I live between 2 cities and get about 50% decent depending which way I drive. And that's on the OEM longer antenna.

You're not the first I've seen go to a lower profile antenna so curious your experience, given your area.

Pulled the seats and carpet out. Started the cleaning process.

Took a break from cleaning and installed new front double adjustable control arms, going to install the rears after church. Will post pictures then.

I used to remove my carpet before any mud/water adventures. It was still a PITA to clean everything. It took me days to get everything underneath my Jeep back to normal. After my last trip, I used a wire wheel to clean everything, then paint. I made the mistake of letting the red clay dry.

Did you just mount to the factory plate with screws up from underneath?

Ordered a cheap Amazon Chinesium radio last week to hold me over until I figure out what I want the final audio setup to be, and while I had the dash insert off to do the install I painted it to cover some fading and scuffing.

I also fixed out the PO's previous wiring, and installed a dual USB port in place of the cig lighter socket.

3 coats of Adhesion Promoter and 3 coats of Rustoleum Satin Black, and this thing looks great to me!
