What did you do to your TJ today?

Front driveshaft rebuild is complete:

Hit the scratches you can see here with a rattlecan, and will re-install tomorrow.

Despite being as careful as I could be, I had not one, but two caps get their needle bearings out of whack, one had to be pressed back out to fix. Not sure what I'm doing wrong - I had one similar situation last year when I rebuilt the rear DS.
Had that exact same thing happen to me one time on a 1987-1/2 Yugo. Welded it.

An 87-1/2 WHAT??? You actually owned a YUGO???🙄🙄🙄

Front driveshaft and "Shovel" re-installed.

Large galvanized washers emplaced on Shovel:

Gives me a 1/16" air gap that should help prevent rust...

I'm not sure I'm completely happy with this solution, I'm still worried about water getting under that washer - I'm thinking about glopping under it with some RTV.

Jeep accessories…My wife likes to needlepoint, will fit large bourbon nicely once I get it in an acrylic coaster.

Blasphemy I say!!! You must discretely modify the pattern and resubmit it to thy loving wife, so as to not offend the TJ gods with the likeness of a JK on said coaster!!

J/K, that's actually pretty cool!!! even if it is a JK. 🤣

@JasterMereel42 ^ what he said. There is a write up in the how too section, but these bulbs are easier to find and they also work if you want to add backlight to the GCR toggle switch’s.

I switch the passenger airbag thing from ON to OFF. The AIRBAG light on the dash went away. I'll drive it like this for a week and see if the airbag light comes on or not. Thanks for the tips. It is helping me to troubleshoot this.

Got the damaged radiator out; man it was a PITA. I broke the fan shroud getting the radiator out. The 25 year old plastic was brittle. It didn't have much force on it at all when it popped. I did a "good" job destroying the radiator and fan. There was only 2 fan blades that were not bent.

I've got a new Mopar water pump that I'm going to put on while the radiator is out. The one that is on it now is the original and still works, but my luck would mean I would have to change it soon after putting the radiator in. With the Cold Case, I have to put the fan on before the radiator goes in.

Got the driver fender off to put the Metalcloak fenders on while I wait for the new radiator to come in. This side was fairly easy to get out (now I've jinksed myself for the passenger side). It definitely helps to have another set of hands.

Any pics of the broken motor mount? I thought the steel shell would keep even a broken mount from getting out of control like that, unless the shell broke too?
