What did you do to your TJ today?

last night

Go ahead and order a set of the snap ring pliers with the interchangable ends. If you wheel regularly those joints don't last as long. But they are easy to replace with the right tools.

Also when MetalCloak has a sale stock up on replacement bushings. That is what I did

Which one's did you get?

Did you look at swapping to Johnny joints on your's also?

New water pump, fan, and fan clutch installed. Yes the fan is backwards in that picture. It got fixed after I realized that 🤦‍♂️.

Also wired up the parking/turn signal lights and modified & painted the RockHard rock rails to fit the front fenders.

Anyone want these wiring pig tails for the front fender lights?

Where did you find that shift knob?

Comes with the B&M short throw shifter. Comes in a few different styles.. I like the one with just the B&M logo more than the one with the shift pattern, which is what I have now. The one on the transfer case shift lever was an eBay find. Took a while to find one with the right pattern and the same size as the B&M knob.

Can you post a link to the Auxbeam mount? I'm getting ready to get rid of all my switches and go with one.

Speed Dawg might be your friend if anyone's looking...

I wouldn't be surprised if they make the knobs for the B&M shifter kit.

That was 100% custom. I’ll have dig up the company that did it.
If you’re going to do the Auxbeam switch panel, I may be replacing the mount with with another. Let me know if you have any interest in this one. Auxbeam panels are have slightly different dimensions so you would need to be sure it fits. Cheaper than having one made.

I recall looking at Speed Dawg when I was looking for the t-case knob. Nothing they offered was the right size.
Checked their inventory and nothing with the B&M logo. I don’t hate the one I have. I just swapped an AX15 in for the NV3550 that shit the bed and I should have swapped knobs before I sold the old B&M.

I figured. I remember several on Etsy when I was looking for my current switch panel.

I'm looking at the 12 gang Auxbeam. If I use everything I have now, I'll need 9. I could probably combine the front off-road lights to 1 switch and use 8.

I’ll find the company that did it for me. I laid out the position of all of the devices and they did the 3D printing. On the right.. 12v cig lighter, RJ45 for the Midland GMRS, USB A & USB C with a voltage display and a power switch for the cig & USB that is really just a placeholder for future use. I really don’t need the 12v cig or the power switch so I want to streamline the mount with the Auxbeam In the middle and the RJ45 left and USB to the right.

For the Auxbeam panel, I actually bought a second Auxbeam setup and mailed to the company that did the mount to be 100% it would fit. Turned out to be a good thing because the first 8 gang was just a smidge different size and would not have fit.

Washed it. While washing, I noticed my CB antenna ball mount was loose. Long story short, the ball mount was advertised as "stainless" - which it is. They didn't say anything about the bolt that holds it onto the Jeep nor a certain lock washer. The lock washer was rot rusted, the head of the bolt just surface rusted. Got a new SS lock washer, and will hit the bolt head with rust reformer. Sigh...

My wife bought me these, early Christmas. What pisser, that yoke puller did not come with 1/2-20 bolt, waiting for it now. Pounded some more today, nada, I guess she saw me under there with the 4 ton stands jiggling. It looks Jeep will be on stands for a while. I noticed fluid weeping out of transfer case today. Should change my tag to Can of Worms. All good
