What did you do to your TJ today?

I'd love to see you have no top in this sub 40* weather 🤣 I drive 72 miles a day....I NEED my top 😆

I used to own a Solara convertible during the deadly freeze mid covid. I was classified as “essential” so I had to go to work everyday.

My dumbass was zipping up and down PGBT with the top down in our sub 10* weather….

I usually drive windows down no matter the weather around here aside from keeping the side soft windows in place because they are a PITA to put back on with this soft top.

Did you still wear a mask while driving alone? Did the cold air keep you from getting covid? ;)
p.s. I had to keep a paper with me, stating that I was an essential worker. No one was supposed to be on the roads after the stores had closed. I had to go out at 2am. This stamp explains it all. This is Gavin Newsom in the future, without the hair gel. Only Cali would vote for him. Maybe not anymore

Mask, yes.
Prevent covid, maybe?
Paper, yes

Cops pulled me over a few times warning me if the dangers while I casually slap them with a “Space Naught is seen as an essential employee in the state of Texas authorized by Fe Fi Fo Fum Dealerships”

I wont blast the dealership lol

Welp, during my morning commute to the office, the ole jeep decided to puke a P0300 after some decently heavy acceleration to pass a semi on the highway.

Can't feel the misfire, just have a fancy orange light on the dash. I'll plug my scan tool in when I get home since I forgot I took it out to diagnose my fathers truck last weekend......

Replaced the sparkplugs to make it run happier, just for it to spit in my face.

Edit - I should mention I did replace the Crank position sensor a while back due to wire damage that left me stranded on the highway one afternoon, but the ignition coil really looked like shit when doing the spark plugs, might just throw that at it since its probably due for replacement.

Took the used tires and wheels I bought for the street to be balanced. Good news is no death wobble since. Bad news is the tire shop found one bad wheel stud and that my e-brake shoes are paper thin. So fixed one thing and found two other things that need fixing. About normal for my TJ

Do you know who makes the winch fairlead mount you are running? It looks like a much better design than the one I have

@mrblaine , wizard recover gear.

Also have his awesome tail lights on it.

He is a breath of fresh air to work with vs. the corporate aftermarket world.

I think its the ST Fairlead though :ROFLMAO:

I want those taillights so bad, but my amazon special LED replacements simply wont die........ I think I paid like $30 for them and they have survived almost a year, but they wobbly around thanks to the PO over torqueing the bolts with those stupid bushwacker cages so the nutserts are pulled away from the body some, Ill eventually pull them off and pound them back flat.

Idk if that's better or worse than my stockers LOL. I have those stupid prison bars for them. I don't think the rust stains from them will wash off my white paint 😡

Surprisingly the rust stains came off pretty easy on my white jeep, then again…. i attacked them like they owed me money with a Mr Clean magic eraser for a good 45 minutes

Good tip... I'll have to try that.

It is so bad. Like dirty underwear.

Honestly, thats the cleanest part of my Jeep.... probably because I disrespected it to get rid of those cages and nasty filth they leave.

Only caution with the magic eraser is if you push too hard, its like running scotchbrite pads across the paint. It has to be light to medium pressure with your choice of soapy wooder (Im a huge fan of ChrisFix my bad) or degreasing agent
