Got my chill spot back, can angle Jeep in more, ready to start tearing into t-case this weekend. Hopefully Woodrow still has his t-case when I get some cash soon. New fire up Lake Castiac area, one of my favorite local fishing spots Homes and businesses being evacuated now 5 freeway shutdown

Another day of uhgs. I did get going what thought was non op radio, literally threw speakers where I could find a spot behind seats, jerry rigged for now but got tunes. No success busting open t-case filler plug.
Attempted to put Mastertop on but posed impossible for me today getting it tucked into door surrounds, even with a helper. Another day. Taking it to range tomorrow and downing after that any how for t-case repair. Thinking of dropping tranny as well and address engine rear seal and oil pan leaks, needs replacement, both oil pan and tranny pan have rock damage, boulder damage really for this rig. Just attack everything in one swoop. I serviced the tranny already it been untouched and is in good running condition just clean up and new pan with an extra cooler anlso additional oil cooling for turbo as well, skids for tranny and oil pan. Yup, big list. It looks they have handle on recent fires but invisible ash is bad. We are getting rain this weekend, whole different issue for burn areas.

May a bit extreme thought, rekindle burning on the stake punishment?

A man can dream... Ridiculous it got to that point, according the article there was a long line of threats to the insurance company employees, she showed up at multiple offices, and they just gave her a restraining order from the company. Crazy bitch

I got the leaking diff fixed today. The shop who put on the lockers forgot to add a ventilation channel that's seemingly required on certain dana44 axels:

Looks like I got one of the faulty axels. I'll do a test drive next week.
It was on warranty, so no cost at least.

I am almost done with gear break in for my LJ. 5.13s with e lockers. revolution in the rear and US Standards in the front. Out of curiosity, drained oil in rear and ran a pattern (after pulling shafts and brakes).

Pattern was perfect. Just like when I buttoned it up.

I just finished going through that with a Dana 35, it was not required, only one grind was required and was previously done. Very important step for proper lube flow. The installer did miss pinion gear shaving required for this Dana 35 set-up with 4.88 gearing.

Man grinding down the pinion would make me nervous.

I got the new rear seat belts installed to go along with the new (junkyard) rear seat. The seat belts are from seatbeltplanet.com and are so nice I am thinking I may also get new ones for the front.

I’ve been having issues with my passenger side not wanting to return after unbuckling, very annoying. Tried everything to fix it.

What was the reason you purchased new ones? Same issue?
