What did you do to your TJ today?

What grease did you put in it?

I just did a normal oil & filter change along with a lube of the front end parts.
‘No big deal, but I’ve got to say that this “Lock-N-Lube” grease gun is a total game changer. The end is locked onto the zerk so you don’t have to hold it in place. It also never leaks at the zerk & you don’t need 3 or more hands to get the job done. ☺️ It also seems much cleaner because grease doesn’t get all over everything.

I got one of their ends for my Milwaukee M18 grease gun. It is the cats meow!

I bought the LockNFlate locking air chuck for my tire inflator. Works great. Now I'll have to buy one of these.

Last week I ordered the MetalCloak 13" sway bar links that I am going to use once I get the long arm kit and 4.5 inch lift added. Today I ordered the rear link kit so I can make shorter links in the front to use until I get the lift and long arm kit ordered. The kit is $50 plus shipping. I can cut to the correct length, thread an end and have spares for repair.

The red Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) indicator illuminated on the lower right of the instrument cluster.
Soldered in a 12V 25ma incandescent mini lamp for the Passenger side air bag On/Off switch.
This is the 2nd time in 4 years I needed to replace that bulb.
Several years ago I purchased (2) Radio Shack 12V 25ma mini lamps (272-1141A), but discovered they have gone the way of the Unicorn and are no longer available.
Decided to purchase a package (10pcs) of Motoku 12V white mini LEDs and will try using them if this problem reoccurs.

Started prepping the LJ for some overhaul this weekend. Going to finish up my DIY rear wiper, install my new Sony CarPlay radio, and replace my skid plate bolts. Starting to consider a 1” body lift too, down the rabbit hole I go.

Can anyone confirm I don’t need a skid plate drop for a 2.5” lift on an LJ? @Chris I saw your comment on another thread, just want to double check!

You shouldn’t need one.

Not exactly true....
Every Jeep is different even though they shouldn't be.

I'll have to agree with the above, as our '03 TJ has a ~3" lift and there was noise from the driveline when the lift was first installed.
The transfer case had to be dropped - according to the "experts" at 4 Wheel Parts that installed the lift.
They did the work and included the spacer kit for free and I haven't had any issues.

Not really relevant to the LJ question, but it does confirm that some TJ's are ok w/o the TC drop and some are not.

If @Duner needs a tcase drop on an LJ with a 2.5" lift, he has other issues going on.

The PO had it installed when I bought it, I hate how it looks. Didn’t want to have to buy longer bolts if it’s not needed.

Went down the rabbit hole last night of body lifts. If I lift the body with the black magic 1.25 kit will I get interference with my manual shifting and the plastic bezel inside? Deleting the skid drop may help avoid it but I know in my TJ, that also has a skid drop, I had to remove the boot on the stick since any time I shifted into 2nd/4th/ reverse the interference with the bezel would push the stick out of gear into neutral.
