Din is a unit of measurement used by the radio manufacturers. A normal size car radio is a single din. The 97 wrangler used a 1.5 din. And the later models used a 2 din (or double din)Don't know what double din is.
So my 2000 TJ would use a 1.5 din?Din is a unit of measurement used by the radio manufacturers. A normal size car radio is a single din. The 97 wrangler used a 1.5 din. And the later models used a 2 din (or double din)
A single or double din can be installed. Just need the appropriate install kit. Some modification may be needed to install a double din if I’m not mistaken. So my 2000 TJ would use a 1.5 din?
The factory radio is a 1.5 din. A single din will fit with an install kit like this.So my 2000 TJ would use a 1.5 din?
Today I lighted my Jeep by 40lbs by selling my hi-lift jack! The listing is worth a read: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/hi-lift-jack-xt485-48-hi-lift-x-treme-jack.15998/
Haha... you wrote all that and it STILL sold! I guess some people really just need a hi-lift jack. You know, you can mount them on top of your hood and look like billy badass!
Is it just me, or did the prepper crowd become the overland crowd? Gotta have the full first aid medical kit even if you only know how the band aids and aspirin work.
Love that color combo!Got the hard top back on with the Indiana winter in full effect. Glad to have the extra weight back in the rear of the jeep for the OME HD springs / shocks I have.

I would go with a single din. I don't want to cut my dash. The factory radio is a 1.5 din. A single din will fit with an install kit like this.

Or if you realy want a double din radio you are looking at buying a new trim piece and cutting the dash to fit it in. Many people have done it. Here is a link to the post.
