What did you do to your TJ today?

Was going to order new indoor and outdoor handles thinking they were the issue but decided to open and fix it. Issue was a bent piece of metal off the key cylinder that wasn't allowing to engage lock and also has a hairline crack i bent it back into place for now, works like charm. Also oiled outdoor handles and took off actuators attached to locks from previous alarm. Let me tell you getting those handles off was something else! Oh and cleaned tub out.

Installed Bedrug front and rear liners. Love them on my F-150 and knew these would be awesome. Replaced original tan factory carpet. Pictures of before, during and after. Great fit. Had to do a little cutting for the underseat lock box. Still need to mount the sub and cap. Broke the cap mount and will have to locate a new one. Would definitely buy again. Only parts of the original carpet that was not included are the two pieces that cover the kick panels on both sides. Think I will contact Bedrug and see if I can buy some bulk material that I can use to cut to fit from original carpet pieces.

Heater core flush today. Heat from vents went from 80*-120*.
Removed the Outlaw decals. Pics below. Not sure why the Jeep looks yellowish in the after pic.
Also removed the 2" seat risers. Don't need that when I'm 6'2".

Does anybody make a BETTER reception than stock antenna in the sub 12 inch range?

I highly doubt it. The aim with the stubby antennas is "not enough signal loss to make a difference to me".

:cunaooooo:

Probably not. There is some debate as to whether or not you get at least as good of reception with a stubby but for me choosing to go to a stubby was a height issue as I got tired of the stock unit hitting the A pillar. I listen to mostly AM and music is transmitted via a Belkin tunebase from my iphone gs3 that I use as a media player.

I had a stubby on my JK and didn't like how it functioned, but it looked cool.

If I actually listened to the radio more (and not my phone) I would have put the OE one back on. I live within 20 miles of radio stations owned and operated by the largest radio station owner in the US who is HQ'd here and got very poor reception. The OE antenna meanwhile would easily work out to 60 miles out of town if not further.
