What did you do to your TJ today?

Well there is a difference between hate and not trusting. Community policing is trying to change those images and reduce the hate and increase the trust. Many cities are now trying to recruit within the neighborhoods that they will patrol, being a local opens up opportunities for better communication and reducing crime in high crime areas.

Oh and I think its funny that a lot of people who move FROM california to other states, then try to make it just like california...

Don't worry, I won't be moving from California, I like it here, but if I do, maybe I'll move next to you. You don't have to tell where you live, I'll just get it off your license plate. :)

Whoa don’t be a Cali’ hater not all of us have those Socialist beliefs, some of us are just trying to get away from the cancerous socialism, and then there’s those that are spreading it.
Is there a survey that we can identify that group with? Is that being paranoid? Is identifying other groups with surveys normal behavior?

Well my friends, I finally took care of a small project that I've been thinking about. I removed, cleaned, sanded and painted the tailgate door lock cover. I also cleaned the locking mechanism and used some white lithium grease on it.

Drilled 4 3/8” holes in the frame. Used air compressor and vacuum to get what I could, then ran the hose the best I could to flush out the evil. Luckily, appears to be only 1 area that had more evil than the rest, in front of the rear passenger side tire.

Threw on a new Rampage sailcloth trail top with tinted windows for laughs and giggles. Still waiting on a tailgate bar to be delivered to button it completely up. It’s 92 degrees outside so it stretched out with ease during installation with me sweating all over it. I’ll let it air out for a few days, then wipe it down with some 303 to help it last. The top was missing the two rods that keep water from pooling over the front seats, and the two pieces of foam that go over the door surrounds. I hope to be able to get those from Rampage, so I can run it as it was designed to be, although it may not be a big deal. Quality is already showing as well. It has a seam seal pulling away right over the drivers seat, and after a small test it leaks badly. Dammit Jimbob!

I've been working on my color change project.

Jeep is just about stripped down, doors and hood are ready for paint, and just a few things left to remove from the Jeep, then to fix the minor body rust issues.

The underside of the hood and insides of the doors have been painted.

...blind spot monitoring...

I thought about grabbing some of those the other day. Had them on a motorcycle and liked them. Plenty of room on the Jeep mirrors to add them.

Today, I extended the rear axle vent hose. Seemed a little too short after the lift. Replaced the shift indicator (PRNDL) light bulb. Airbag light that came on yesterday seemed to be off today. Was looking over, well, under the front end for leaks and thought I saw daylight between the washer under the lower starter bolt and engine/transmission. Put a wrench on it and yep, loose. Finger loose. Tightened it up and snugged up the top one too. That could have been fun, LOL. But the front end is much more clean with transmission line clamp tightened and front pinion seal replaced. Rear cover needs to be pulled back off and resealed.

I'm waiting on a 3k check. Need the full exhaust pretty much. New header and behind the cats at least. Winch bumper and winch, and that will probably be it till next year. (yeah right)
