What did you do to your TJ today?

Any chance that you could do a cover like that for the windshield vent. I’ve got a couple of broken pieces in the grid. They’re way too fragile. Just something that would screw over top or even slide into the recess if you broke them all out. Just a thought.

I’m working on a two or three piece model for just that thing. Stay tuned.

Painted my new-to-me JCR sliders. Think they turned out pretty good. Will install same time as my Savvy BL when it arrives this week.

Today was prep day for next weekend,

Aired up the tires since I can’t tow next weekend. I got rear ended last week in the truck

Re-spooled the winch

Checked bolts, unjoints, fluids.

Put on soft top

Packed tool bags

Strapped everything down

Should be about ready to roll come Friday night

So where ya heading fellow Washingtonian?

My TJ rig is a weekend camper with solar controller power back up for my ARB fridge. Otherwise she sits for weeks on end with no battery tender. So I mounted 30watt / 2amp trickle charge solar panel from ebay for $20. So when she sits the battery stays charged. It's slim and tucked away so no one would steal it. It's has the same wm-12 connectors from the 100 watts panel. Great back up tender for cheap.

I had the same issue, so I bought a section of metal gutter cover, cut out a piece and hot glued it to the under/back side. Not only were the fragile vent sections broken but the thin solid part in the middle of the vent area was also broke.
I think it looks good and seems to work very well.

I was a bit surprised after reading different threads about tj dome lights. But when I removed my doors last spring I was ready with one of those switches you find online. That's when I realized my lights time out. Don't know if it's a year thing or maybe a Canadian tj thing as my tj was produced for their market.

2000 TJ here put the top on today, I have a switch in the glove box wired to the fuse.
