This is closer to my bestop customer service experience. Top was on my LJ when bought it so no receipt. Started to show pin holes around stitches. Sent them photo and soon had replacement no hassle.
i'm not surprised to hear that since you probably didn't go into the interaction acting like a raging bitch.
i generally don't have bad customer service interactions.. anywhere. i think some people just end up getting "bad customer" service..
i couldn’t find about half of the hardware and parts for the bestop highrock cargo rack that i bought used off craigslist a few years back since i was running it on the tailgate. about a week ago i give up looking and get on line for the live chat and let them know that i'd like to order replacement parts. the customer service agent figures out the 70$ worth of parts i need to get and tells me that she's sending them to me free of charge because of my pleasant attitude. every interaction is saved on a log and they read the notes before connecting to the chat just to see what they might be getting themselves into.
