What did you do to your TJ today?

Of all the PO bullsh!t...looks like someone was trying to remove the roll cage and broke a drill bit...

Also... anyone know where to find a 52100218 fuel line...or should I just order a Dorman generic kit and crimp my own? For a early 97 4.0.

And PS it came right out with some vice grips...so wtf? Some people shouldn't be allowed to play with tools.

Is the fuel line bad?

It's probably the original. I like fresh parts and I cannot lie.

Might not replace it now...but it irks me I can't find a replacement.

As long as it’s no damaged I wouldn’t worry about it. I would lube the o ring before you reinstall it. I’ve seen those damaged, I don’t think I have ever seen one fail.

Dropped the top when the temp hit 52, and destroyed the rear window zipper in the process!

Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago… Went to pull the zipper up on the left-hand side of the back window and found it had separated at the curve… it’s a Smittybuilt top I bought from thmotorsports in Oct 2020 for $183 with half door skins and tinted windows…

The next day I called Smittybuilt and explained the situation to the guy and he said “ man I hate to hear that, let me send you a new one”…Well OK!… No need to send pictures and to return the old one!…5 days later red white and blue Santa shows up with the new one…

I realize they are made in china and not the quality of a Bestop but if I can get 3 years out of this one that’ll be 6 years for $183…I’ll be a happy camper!

Replaced a bolt that fell out of my back Garvin rack and @Mikee024 had to give me a bolt to replace it out on the trails. Black grade 8 with a wing nut.

Got the front grill to frame body mount bolted back up since I seemed to have lost the stock one after putting in the new Savvy body lift.

Shoutout to @Ocho for sending me a bushing he had laying around. Thanks bro.

And I have 4wd again. McMaster Carr delivered the yoke end and clevis next day deliver which was surprising. Performed some surgery and got the cotter pin in and set this time lol

Got 4 more bolts to finish mounting the Garvin Wilderness rack. It's been mounted on 4 bolts and takes 8. I have to take the rack back off. Mark the holes. Drill the holes out. Re install the rack then bolt it back up.

And lastly, I "cleaned" up the front bumper area and fog lights. They look new again.

mmm fastener porn (my 445th favorite)

Try to restrain when you work 20 hours a week at a True Value. 😵‍💫😵‍💫
There are over 400 containers of hardware in our Hillman aisle😳😳

400? Cute

The Ace's hardware section I go to is amazing. 6 aisles plus back wall. Idk how many bins it is but it's a lot.

Top 3 jobs on my list for when I retire.

I should prolly censor these pics. Calmn down people.

Removed the crappy Paramore eBay brand plastic, flat fenders. They were starting to crack, and have some weird bubbles in the plastic. Went back to the factory flares.

I don’t really know why I changed them in the first place. It looks so much better stock.

btw, the high-speed adjuster knob and hoses that come with Fox 2.0 DSC smoothies match your blue theme...just saying (whistles as he walks away).

That’s phase 3. Outboarding and shocks.

I just finished replacing the axles and installing new seats, new bumpers, aluminum skid plates, A body lift, small, tummy, tuck, SYE, savvy, shifter, and some other odds and ends. Time to enjoy it for a while!

I’m headed out to Moab in about a month, once I’m done with that I’ll probably start prepping for phase 3.
