Of course neither Home Depot or Walmart had either of those or anything remotely similar. Guess I'll have to hit up NAPA after work tomorrow. I'd like to get this done before the 4th.
no Harbor Freight close by?

Still can't get this damn bolt out. Really wishing I knew how to weld right now... Just can't get a good angle with a drill bit and it's not budging with vise grips.

We will be doing the usual touristy stuff on this trip as my girls have never been the the US. (LA , Vegas, Grand Canyon etc)
Um Alabama??
Can you smuggle in so real Vegimite or ever how you spell it??
Not on this trip mate sorry…
Vegemite is an Aussie thing New Zealanders have better taste than that lol
I have been told it's not very tasty, but another friend of mine loves it.
Go figure.

Skip LA and go to Yosemite and Sequoia, my advice. D

When I have a broken bolt like that with some nub left I use a mapp gas torch to get it hot and hammer one of these stud extractors over it. Pretty good success rate. Better success rate than I've had with the spiral extractors, anyway. You just use a big hammer and these extractors dig in to the bolt.
They often carry them at auto parts stores but they're usually marked up twice what you see them for elsewhere

Are you only going as far East as Vegas? If you are going farther east there's some pretty rad stuff. Although most of what I consider rad isn't exactly what most would consider "touristy".
My mate (Who is coming with me) has friends in St George ( I think that’s what he called it ) we will be using that place as a base to go to the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon aswell.
I would have liked to have gone further east to Moab but that will have to wait for another year

St. George and Bryce Canyon is a beautiful area! Definitely try to make it up to Zion if you have the time. That area will also make you wish you could've brought your Jeep.
Don’t forget Zion
Haven’t forgotten about Zion National Park and I’m hoping we have time to drive through it…
Yeah I wish I could bring my Jeep I think we’re gonna be in a suburban
You never know the people we are staying with may a Jeep I can ‘borrow’![]()
