Just installed some 18W Flush Mount LED's. Cut holes in stock bumpers ran off Back up lights. Build a harness. Just duct Taped on, need washers to install, which they didn't come with in hardware. Will finishes today
I gathered up some more $$$ today for my TJ project by selling some Rugged Ridge seats that I had purchased a few years ago and used in my wife's XJ. Miserably uncomfortable seats. Glad to be rid of them...
I installed them in the XJ the day before we were doing a road trip down Hwy 101 in Oregon. They were so damn uncomfortable, we drove my old Dodge diesel, instead. Did use the seats for about 9 months. I finally had the original seat frames repaired (welded), and reinstalled them. I will never buy aftermarket seats again...Nothing worse than uncomfortable seats. The seats in our Rodeo make my butt go numb. Sole sucking machine, it is. Serves a purpose though, so gotta keep it.
I broke ALL FOUR rear upper shock mount bolts. Eff my Life...Stupid Rust Belt Jeep. Gotta change her name from Rubi to Rusti...
I tell folks that it's not really yours until you bleed!Yikes, I’m about to jinx myself but I haven’t broke a single bolt yet in my recent wrenching adventures. I have smashed my hand and fingers and hit my head so hard on my bumper that I laid there for about 10 minutes tho.

What did you use to apply the penetrol?I used the penetrol on the hardtop today. Learned from this site about it so decided to give it a go.
First had to wash the hardtop and gave the rest of the Jeep a quick wash.

Let it sit for the night and put the top back on tomorrow.
I just used a microfiber towel. I have read that some people use a foam brush. Make sure you wear some latex gloves. It really turned out well. Still curious to see how well it holds up to the elements. What did you use to apply the penetrol?
How do you like the Alien shade? I wasn't sure as I was installing it but now that I have taken a few drives, I really like it.Finished the Antirock install, took the top off and installed the Alien Shade. It's a beautiful California day, now where to drive off to

Alien shade is what I have also, it is hidden in between the roll bars, and so when you look at it as if there is none in there. I like it as well !!!How do you like the Alien shade? I wasn't sure as I was installing it but now that I have taken a few drives, I really like it.
