What did you do to your TJ today?

OK... that there is gorgeous..

I used to be a slave to paint detailing. I still have all the kit, but lack the time to do it right. Mine is black and the paint is decent. I should have detailed the body panels when I had the flares off last year.

I just sent a set of half doors off for paint so the impetus is there to detail the rest of the jeep to match or the doors will stand out. Something to look forward to in the spring.

I thought seat heaters were going to be a wast of energy and as it turns out, I am using them every day. Put them on high and they warm up fast. I used the Bartact kit.

That’s the way to do it. Good stuff.

I bought a cheap import kit off Amazon. Tore everything apart to install it and it was dead in the water.
Tried to get a refund and the Amazon seller had already closed up shop.

I should have ordered the Bartact kit when I bought the seat covers but the covers were so darn expensive I thought I could save a few bucks...

That’s about my luck.

Got mine off eBay … I look for the water carbon name….got a set for the TJR coming -these last ones were by far the best…3 heat levels and big elements.

Hopefully this next set is the same…..and actually shows up,

My rear disc's weren't engaging. Font end lock up on the wet freaked me out, so I inspected for a rusty mount thingy on the T adapter, it was fine, so I bled both rear brakes. Fluid was running fine, and I don't think I saw air bubbles. Went our for a break check on wet roads and no lock up, all seemed to work fine. Going back out now on dry roads to test a little more.

Someone walnut shell blasted it and painted it. It’s a good touch - keeps it from being too much black.

They went all out on this LJ.

But of all things I still had a trailer it home. Drove awful.

Is that @tomtaylz old LJ? @Mike Z did you sell it? Maybe I'm getting confused with similar looking LJs 😂

That Jeep has a lot of good work done to it (if it's the Jeep I think it is), including some wizard magic.
