What did you do to your TJ today?

May have cut off the top part in that other photo. Here's the top of the BB. And it is 3 inches... That seems excessive..
You shouldn't go more than 2" on the spacer. You can see how far down the spring is in relation to the bumper tower. You need to get the cups and jounce bumpers in there. Without them you are going to have serious coil bind and bottoming out.

I pulled the stock cloth off of my drivers seat and FINALLY found the source of a squeak. Somehow the frame had cracked right at the top and the two metal pieces were rubbing when I leaned back or hit a bump. Got that fixed up and no more squeak!

These kind of happened iver the last few weeks, but here we go:

Installed
1. Tuffy Security Enclosure
2. New Wheels and Tires (went down to 15in from 17in that the PO had
on...rides so much better now)
3. Installed the Exogate (left off tire carrier since I haven’t bought the 5th wheel yet)
4. Its Texas so its back to no doors/windows

Well....
It will be another 3 steps:
1. Buy a steering rod assembly
2. Get some few clamps, rusty bolts and some zip-tie
3. Connect the elliptical handle to steering rod assembly into your TJ pitman arm

NOTE: Do not test drive with your love ones in it, be independent.
Sounds safe and easy...really how hard can it be and what could possibly go wrong !! lol

Installed Rockford Fosgate PS-8 sub
Replaced lights to all LEDS in the dash
Cleaned the throttle body
Got some more ideas for fixing my lift.

Thought about taking the soft top off, but it's going to be mid 30's next week and that's sad.

Been super busy with a trip to the beach and some massive cleanup afterward.

North Padre Island National Seashore, 16 miles one way into 4x4 only territory. Pic of mike 20 below (see, it did happen).

Jeep handled it like a champ. Blowing sand was a bit much for the driver and passenger. Created a nightmare to clean up.

Airing back up with my Viair 88. Nice pump. 8 min total from 13-26psi

Got home and went to work. Decided to take everything out. It gave me a good idea of the condition of the Jeep. Immaculate. Sorry rust belt guys.

So happy for you. I wouldn't wish Rust on my worst enemy. My wife and I were talking...and she mentioned selling mine and buying something down south. I gotta admit...its tempting. I think with the way mine looks now, I might be able to get 13-15 K in Michigan...You gotta look HARD to find rust now. I know where its hiding, but the average Joe on the street wouldn't.

finished up the install of the audio pilot powered sub in the center console, along with a new pyle head unit courtesy of groupon. Pulled the trigger on a set of OR-FAB Rock Sliders!! Cant wait to get those in!! Moving on to drilling drain holes in frame and coating inside and out in preparation for slider install! After that new shoes and I'm done.....for now lol

Sweet pics JMT. I have been to south padre twice but never in a vehicle that would make it where you went. Sand is a funny thing, it gets in every nook and cranny including your butt crack.
