Added some jerry can mounts for weekend camping trips so when i pull my boat around i can bring them along and not have to worry loading the boat back up to go fill it up in the nearest town.

But can you swing out your tire carrier and open the tailgate and the hardtop glass? My bet is you can't.

I out in some new spark plugs today runs a lot smoother. It didn’t run bad before just smoother now. I also changed a leaky window washer sprayer doo dad no leaks.

I think my jeep is in a mood. This past Wednesday I decided to take a drive to an old car themed restaurant that is about 35 miles from home. Most of it interstate. Anyway on the way home I noticed that my air conditioner was not blowing. So I messed around with the fan speed and now only works on high. It was working fine a week ago. So it looks like I am going to need a resistor.
Also on the way home the jeep decided to run hot. It did not overheat but got about halfway between halfway and in the red. Another new symptom.
Finally after I got home and parked the jeep in the garage I noticed the highbeams were on. I did not have the headlights on at all. I noticed if I jiggled the headlight switch the highbeams would go on and off. So it looks like my multi function switch is flaky and needs to be replaced as well.
Fun times. Especially for a vehicle with only 50,000 miles. I ordered the resistor and the multifunction switch. And I will deal with the cooling system later. Not sure what’s going on there yet. Just flushed it about a month ago. But at that time I did not replace the thermostat or the water pump. So guessing that’s next or maybe the fan clutch or all three. But I’m going to keep driving it. If it starts to overheat again it’s going to get parked until the fall.

Installed new hood to grille rubber bumpers that were missing when I bought the Jeep and also added a barricade rear bumper with tire carrier. Bumper seems pretty well built for the cheaper price and hopefully it will hold up well.
Finally finished painting my Sliders.
Went black for the plates against the tub, and used some leftover paint from my wheels to do the slider / step portion. Now...to just find a couple hours to get them mounted!
