What did you do to your TJ today?

I switched to SilBlades.. Going on two years now and they are still great. Cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap.

Those are one blade brand I haven't tried in the two decades living here in Texas, and I've tried many, but keep going back to the basic, cheap blade. I've never had a set of ANY blades last more than one year down here, no matter how much I pay for them. I haven't tried these due to the disappointment all the other "super, duper, best ever, high-falutin' blades" have provided me. For me, cheap has proven to be not just good, but great!

Been a slow few weeks of doing nothing but driving it.

Has begun to creak and groan more so I think the suspension is finally due for an upgrade.

Been window shopping and trying to find complete kits as oposed to just springs and shocks seems a pain here in Aus.
https://ruggedusaimports.com.au/pro...wrangler-tj-03-06?_pos=2&_sid=81e9b0d09&_ss=r is leading the way, any reason I shouldn't go with this? thinking I'll switch to 33" tyres max but even then not decided if I need that big or not.

Gearbox (42RE) is also starting to flare a bit going into 3rd so crying about potential rebuild.

The creaking and groaning is probably more a symptom of worn control arm bushings. Check for cracking and hardness.

While I’m sure spending time in a gym could do me some good, it won’t do anything to allow me to eat ice cream again, unfortunately.

Don't feel bad. I haven't had ice cream, pizza, beef, cheese, or any fast-food in 3 years. My doctor said "it's just a suggestion. You can ignore my advice and die. It's your choice." 🤔

I don’t eat fast food. I eat ice cream occasionally, or better said, seldom. Eating healthy is super important for us all to feel good. The exercise is to maintain physical strength. That’s all for me. After 50 years old I felt the need to supplement my strength.

Trust me. It helps.

Years of lifting heavy weights caused all my other issues (spine, shoulder issues, 5 hernia surgeries and two detached bicep tendons that were never fixed.) I still lift weights anyway.

Oh, I agree. I know I constantly complain about getting old on here, and I feel guilty always complaining, but it does make me feel better! From 45 to 55, I was a regular backpack hunter and trained like a marathon runner to be in shape to chase critters in steep country. I felt incredible, but I was given DNA that makes joints fall apart (wear out), and I don't think I could train like I once did. However, were I still in marathon shape, I would still not be able to eat ice cream because my current dietary restrictions are for issues that have nothing to do with not being in shape or having bad joints. For privacy reasons, I don't/won't post those on a public forum. You'll just have to trust me, too. ;)
