None. Same Amazon warning on my 2005. Plugged right in. No flickering. Second optional wire for day time lights or signal flashers. I have not hooked these up yet. I like daytime lights but since 2005 did not have it, hook up is a bit confusing to me.

Did you have the poly or rubber bushings on your MML? Or were the vibes for some other reason?Removed Brown Dog 1" motor mount and replaced it with stock mounts.
Forgotten how vibe-less stock mounts are...
Thanks! That's on my list now. Without the OEM steering column driving light switch, are the wires under each fender totally useless? Do you know where they lead?I have these same headlights and love them too. Mine was a different brand from Amazon and costed me $134
I was on the fence about whether or not to hook up the DRL's, but I finally did.
If you want to hook yours up, here's what I did:
Behind the glove box there are two 12v "spare" wires not connected to anything. These can be tough to find because they are tucked behind a wire harness.
One is hot all the time, and the other is only hot when the ignition is on (blue wire I think), thats the one you want.
I soldered an inline fuse onto this wire and then routed a wire under the dash, through the firewall (hole is already there on drivers side) and to the lights. If I get tired of them, I will just pull the fuse but I like them so far. And they are not Halo's!

Not sure exactly which wires under the fender you are referring to.Thanks! That's on my list now. Without the OEM steering column driving light switch, are the wires under each fender totally useless? Do you know where they lead?

You have, as they say, 'the patience of Job'. I don't think I would have the intestinal fortitude to attempt removing all that. Great job!FINALLY GOT THE SPRAY CAN PAINT JOB OFF. The jeep is back to its original khaki color. The rubicon stickers didn't survive so I ordered new ones. I couldn't get it all 100% spotless so halfway through I decided to leave some black scuffs to make it look like a distressed gunsmoke finish. Looks so much better than before...awesome job, plus hard work and elbow grease are free too...score !!!
It's the wiring harness for factory fog lights or driving lights. Here is a photo of the connection. Not sure exactly which wires under the fender you are referring to.
My LED headlights had a separate wire for the DRL's and the turn signals.
I tapped into the wire on each side going to the turn signal under the fender for the turn signals, forgot which color wire it was but it's easy enough to find if you have a multi-meter.
Maybe yours was wired for DRL's at the factory but not installed? I will have to look at the wiring diagram in the FSM and see if I can tell where they go.
I believe he said the LJ had a black rattle can paint job, not plasti-dip...that's what makes the idea of removing it all the more of a huge undertaking.I have steel wheels plasti dipped simply because they look better than the stock wheels. The cool thing about it is you can peel it off problem free.
Why he decided to plasti dip THAT Jeep is beyond me though. No reason to plasti dip a rubi
Looks good!!
