You will like it. Good stuff.Installed my Alien sunshield. Too bad it's cloudy and raining now but the weekend looks promising for lots of sun.
Oh absolutely...my “jeep shed” time, radio on, its my therapy, my stress brake. I love it. Really do. Even if im just puttering.Same for me as well. I find it quite enjoyable to drive it home from work on a nice evening and change some fluids, replace some parts, clean stuff up. Feels better the next day.
I’d recommend posting this in a new thread where more people will see it!I know I’m opening a can of worms here but I’m looking for some advice on my ring gear patterns. I’ve been working on my gears and I think I’m getting close but wanted to see what you guys think.
The first picture is the drive side markings. I’m happy with the root/ top line position but I’m wondering if I need to pull my pinion out a little further. My backlash is set to .08”.
The second picture is the coast side markings. It’s not very wide but it’s centered. What do you think?
I’m also not able to apply much force to the ring gear when rotating the pinion around.

Do you mind to post a link to where you ordered that from? I'm thinking of redoing mine, but the sites I've found are pretty expensive...
Looks to be a clean ride as well.

Thanks, I was looking here: https://www.ocautocarpets.com/product/14469/1997-2006-jeep-wrangler-long-console-pass-area/
The one I used is bedrug. I went with it because their product is well proven as a bed liner for trucks and they have a good reputation.
I figured if it is good enough for a truck bed it should be good enough for the inside of my jeep. Only limitation is grey is the only color.
Welp, I got my Advance Adapters sye put in the first of last week and then ordered a Tom Woods driveshaft. Shaft arrived today, I was really excited, so tired of driving in front wheel drive. Unboxed it and started getting stuff ready to install.... but wait, something dont look right. Called and yep they had a typo on their end. Accidentally sent me a non CV shaft. But they said they'll ship the correct one tommorow and I should for sure have it by the end of the week. So we'll see.

I guess I'll just install my Hayden fan clutch and Core 4x4 arms while I'm waiting.
