Daughter wanted to take the jeep and go sledding, so that's what we did. On the way back she asked to stop and take pictures.

Got her out of storage and immediately took the pups for a ride! Also had to replace the battery..... apparently it has been a long time since I have had to buy one... WTF?? the prices????

Louisiana powder day! The TJ was on tug duty as we ran the roads visiting family and having fun in the snow all day. This is about a once in 50-year kind of snow for south Louisiana! The only hills we have are interstate overpasses, and yes, we sledded down the sides along with some like-minded folks. An ARB snatch strap and boogie board did the trick!

I've never driven plow before and it shows
. I probably would have done fine if I had plowed when the snow first fell, but by the time I got the plow slapped together the snow was wet and HEAVY.
My c-clamp rope guide fell off. I'll need to do something different there. that'll be easy.
I broke the the blade upright supports when I caught the edge backing into a plow pile.
The squared-off blade would work great for wide parking spaces, but with the long narrow drive and angled blade would be much better. So I'll modify the design to allow angling and better support when backing up.

That is really cool! First time I’ve ever seen someone put a stinger to use, oddly enough

Collected the firewood I cut yesterday clearing the road. All green wood.

You burn a lot of fir and pine? When I was logging up there in the coos bay area there was a lot of white oak in the old units. If you're east enough though it turns to pine and other lighter wood
Worked on a new jeep trail on my brothers 160. It follows where the water drains off from above through the woods so has some interesting/challenging spots. It's a uphill trail and since its a jeep trail it's named. My sons can't wait to bring their jeeps next month and try it. They are already talking who's jeep will do it without winching but We will see
Went winter wheeling in western Wisconsin on Saturday. Today the snow is gone! Big Midwest warmup.
