Not today, but Wednesday. Wife and I found ourselves both off on a random weekday, so we took a cruise in the mountains. Went up to St. Peter's Dome and just enjoyed a nice trail ride. Never took it out of 2wd, but had a blast anyway.

It was last week, but we went to Moab for fall break. We met up with my XJ buddy from work and a safari guide friend, Bill Hughes. The Backwards Bill trail is named after him, nice fella and a great guide.

It was last weekend for me as well but I ran Gold Mountain Jeep trail in Big Bear, CA with @Nickgsjeep and @jeepguyOC. Such a fun day with perfect weather.

Gathered firewood yesterday from the abandoned log deck I found last weekend.

First time pulling the trailer with the jeep. I took it slow and it did well. Going downhill on gravel with the loaded trailer was like driving on snow: it felt fine until I wanted to stop, which it did rather slowly lol.
My bumper doesn't really have a place for safety chains, and the trailer chains are too short to use the d-rings. I ran a chain between the shackles and hooked the trailer chains to that. Seems good enough but not ideal. Anyone have a better option?

Video from last week:
Weld a couple loops to the bottom of the bumper? Or a couple triangle gussets from the hitch to the bumper?
